Cineworld Cinema - Glasgow Imax At Gsc
Reviews
Great screen, but tiny, very uncomfortable seats. Somewhat tortuous to be wedged in for three hours. Promising venue with unfulfilled potential.
Great movie but spoiled due to the excessive volume. People sitting around me used tissues for earplugs! I nearly walked out during the first 10 minutes as it wasn't only the guys on the beach who were under attack! my ears were getting a real bashing and I felt I was surffering from shell shock at the end. I only got through the whole movie as I plugged my ears also. The noise levels are dangerously high so please think twice before going to see it here!!
It's a shame as it would otherwise have been a great movie so I recommend seeing it somewhere else!
IMAX CINEMA
What an incredible cinema!! We were staying in the nearby Village Hotel and had a spare evening so we headed to the Imax to see Dunkirk. Incredible film, and with this massive 80ft x 60ft screen - the largest in Scotland - we felt like we were part of the film.
It was easy to book online, and there was only a small queue to enter despite the cinema being pretty full.
Great asset in Glasgow's Pacific Quay.
Watching the movie was great. Dunkirk was brilliant and exhausting. The venue was ok, toilets out of order and couldn't find the alternative. Parking was terrible trying to leave after the movie. Backed up for 15minutes.
Overpriced and poor quality food. Cineworld run this place like amateurs. Parking signs validation not clear and I would recommend going to see IMAX movies at the IMAX screen at Odeon Braehead even though it's slightly smaller but you get better value for money.
Brilliant cinema, now a little hint, if you are Parking park on Govan road around the back of festival park, its FREE and just across from the car park (not when there is a game at Ibrox though).
Great cinema. Only bad thing is it's easy to sit too close. Ruins the viewing and a sore neck later in the day.
Really good sound on one of the biggest screens I've ever seen.
Excellent experience, a tad pricey but most IMAX cinemas usually are.
Great screen, but it really is best to sit in the middle horizontally, between the back and middle vertically - otherwise the image can look blurry or doubled.
