A SIMPLE FAVOUR, a stylish post-modern film noir directed by Paul Feig, centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mummy blogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily's (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town. Based on the best-selling novel by Sarah Waters, THE LITTLE STRANGER tells the story of Dr Faraday, the son of a housemaid, who has built a life of quiet respectability as a country doctor. During the long hot summer of 1948, he is called to a patient at Hundreds Hall, where his mother once worked. The Hall has been home to the Ayres family for more than two centuries. But it is now in decline and its inhabitants - mother, son and daughter - are haunted by something more ominous than a dying way of life. When he takes on his new patient, Faraday has no idea how closely, and how disturbingly, the family's story is about to become entwined with his own.

Went to see beauty and the beast with my daughter, sister and nieces. Was a fab showing, the staff were lovely and helpful.

Tasty snacks and welcoming atmosphere

User

Very nice cinema, more comfy than the two in Aberdeen.

Easy parking.

Lovely, kind and helpful staff (which I have found to be true in all Cineworlds).

Food prices, again across the board, very expensive.

Would easily recommend and will be returning.

My daughter and I have the unlimited card, it's fabulous, highly recommend it 😀

User

Took my girls to see boss baby yesterday they loved it , just like all the other new films we come to see 😆

User

Took my 5 year old granddaughter to seevoeter rabbit was very funny she loved it

User

Took kids to see boss baby and they loved it - pleasant staff, seating comfy. Not a complaint but more of observation- we went on Saturday at middday and lucky if there were a dozen people watching. Perhaps you could look at offering a cut price offer to encourage more to come to cinema. I'm sure the return could come in sales of food, sweets and drinks etc. Just a thought

User

Staff were lovely as was the Cinema, took my 4 girls to last night's showing of The Greatest Showman. We loved it!. And £38 for the 5 of us 3 of us are adults... I thought was great value

User

Really nice picture house ,comfortable ,seen transformers it was awesome . Reasonably priced , only thing that was a let down was the nachos ,not good at all especially for £5.50 .overall not a bad day out

User

My partner and I have unlimited cards (which I highly recommend if you visit the cinema a lot) and visit pretty much every week. Booking in advance using the app is good as you can choose your seat and its dead easy to pick up the tickets from the machine. The cinema itself is always clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. Prices are also pretty reasonable.

User

I go often as I can and the only complaint I had was the theatre I was in was cold and it was to be used the next day for the Autistic screening, which I would attending with my grandson and daughter. I did go see a member of staff, I got an apology and that they would do everything they could to rectify it, as the heating had broke down. The next day, that theatre was warm, not overly warm but comfortable enough.

All I can say is that that has been the only glitch I have encountered. The staff are always present when we go, Very pleasant to talk to, helpful too.

Was there yesterday and everything was spot on.

User

Great cinema. The seats are comfy and there's loads of leg room in the standard seats if you're not keen on paying for the star seats.

As per usual, ticket prices are quite expensive but the unlimited pass looks like a good deal.

The sweets and drinks etc are pricey but there's a good selection of food.

I'm impressed by how clean this cinema is too. You won't come out scratching yourself like you've just been sat in a flea pit for 2 hours.

User

As always great service but sumhow people have complained in the past that it was too cold I found it to be exceptionally roasting but hayho great places can't always get the heating right lol.. cold drinks and comfy seats can't go wrong

User

Absolutely wonderful cinema, with easy access to all screens, which is especially important for those we support with disabilities. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who are always obliging and go that extra mile without a second thought; always make it a joyful experience every time we visit. Can't rate the place high enough. Thank you all.

User

Went to see the last jedi in 3D with my son chose all star seating as per, staff friendly, all good the only letdown is the cost. 12.70 for me 10.85 for the wee man 11 quid for two cokes and a popcorn medium size. 10 for McDonald's after then a fiver for a taxi home, all most 50 note for father and son enjoying a couple of hours at the movies. Did notice it was quite, maybe think of dropping your prices, then more people will come

User

Went to see jumanji welcome to the jungle with my dauggter, staff were nice and friendly, film was fab, my only moan is it was absolutely roasting in screen 8.

User

We love Movies for Juniors. It's a total bargain and a lovely way to spend a rainy Sunday morning.

User

Really happy with the staff/screens etc, however, the seats in screen 4 were not comfortable, and very disappointed in the nachos. Definitely not worth the money when it's competitors do a better deal for less money? Still come to Cineworld often though. Good cinema overall :)

User

My favourite cinema - comfortable seats, friendly and good variety of films. Just wish the snacks/sweets/drinks were cheaper - don't they realise if they were priced similar to supermarket prices they would sell more?

User

First time visit yesterday to watch The Last Jedi. All the staff were friendly and facilities very good.

User

Cineworld in Dundee is great tho prices are going out of control I love my unlimited card but at this rate will have to give it up as my friends can no longer afford to go with me.

Food & drink is no cheaper.

The cinema its self is clean the staff are always very nice and friendly.

User

Cinema screen 9, also known as the hidden gem in my opinion. I've been a cinema goer to this particular venue for years and only recently started introducing the next generation, my daughter, to the joys of a good film! This screen is that little bit extra special, with lots of space and comfy seats. Staff have changed over the years but always very welcoming. Well recommended!

User

Cinema in good clean condition , staff really nice , but I was cold watching my movie , the end of my nose was freezing 😢

User

Why do the staff regularly start the coffee machine cleaning cycle before the last film even starts. You're not likely to buy and sweets etc if the display is covered and you can't see them. Whenever I tell them that I couldn't get this or that, they are always apologetic but it doesn't stop it happening again.

User

Went to see "beauty and the beast " on sunday afternoon and had to go out and complain about the air con as it was freezing cold , I could hardly think of anything else as I was so uncomfortable. ... I told a member of staff and her response to me was....well no one else has complained. Really annoyed with that answer

User

Took our family of 6 and my wife and I to see duck duck goose which cost over £70 , food cost just about doubled that which is insane, prices need to come down , pre booked seat but as usual people were in , seem a lack of staff checking who is seating in the correct seats , want be back for a while when prices are over £9 for adult

User

The movie was good, the service was crap, the young man at the ticket desk was slouched in his chair, no energy, no interest, not sure what his issue was but if he isn’t happy working there he should leave and be happy somewhere else, one chance to make a first impression and he blew it. The movie and the theatre it was shown in was good. I might not remember the movie but I’ll remember the bad service in a couple of months.

User

The facilities are fine and staff friendly enough but you need to take a much tougher stance on anti social behaviour in screens. Almost half the films I go see I need to tell people to quieten down and more and more I get abuse back from them. Recently went and had to get a staff member but basically while sympathetic they didnt even get screen checks for remaining of showing. I think a lot of people are put off going to cinemas these days as this behaviour is seen as an acceptable norm. My understanding is your guidlines is to report such instances. Don't see why people should be bullied out of enjoying switching off and enjoying a film. Also the security is lax often no one to check tickets on entry and people sneeking into another film after paying one I wouldn't be fussed if they were quiet.

User

Only problem was the heat within the cinema makes it uncomfortable to sit for so long. But movie was great

User

Enjoyed the movie but it was freezing inside

User

Enjoyed the film with my Grandson, but the coffee was the worst tasted I have ever had anywhere in the world, never buy again.

User

Didn't like the fact that we couldn't choose where we sat. We got allocated right down the very front so I ended up with a sore neck from having to look up and not at the picture :( does this always happen when a new top tier film comes out?

User

Always plenty leg room available. I would just prefer if it wasn't so hot in there all the time. Like going to see new movies at the cinema but that puts me off.

User

The draft from the emergency door, made it as cold as it was outside in screen 5!

User

1: Ticket scanner didn’t work

2: Tango ice blasts were too watery to serve

3: Too much gas in the pipes to serve any fizzy juice

4: £9.60 for 2 bottles of oasis & small popcorn.

.

User

no heating in the screen we were in and not told prior to attending, notice on the door saying ask for a partial refund when leaving for only 30 minutes of the screening, why should we have to ask for a refund? you should be handing us a refund before hand or at least some sort of voucher to use on food amd drink

User

Went to see '2001: a space odyssey' as it was a one of showing to celebrate its original release 50 years ago. Very excited to see it on the big screen again....but, had to leave half way through as the heat in the cinema was unbearable!

I've been in there before when it's been 'a bit too hot', but this was like sitting In a sauna! Went out to ask if they could turn the air con up, only to be told there is no air con in the cinema and they couldn't do anything about it!!!! Got a refund but not much in the way of an apology. Very disappointing!

User

Took my autistic brother and my brother who has ADHD to see The Last Jedi tonight as a belated Christmas present. I wasn’t impressed. For starters, I have 2 young children and it is difficult enough get babysitters arranged without being away longer than expected! 30 minutes into the film it crashed and we’re left sitting in the dark for another 30 minutes. My autistic brother couldn’t understand why the film had stopped and it was difficult to explain it to him.

By the time the film was finished we were all sick of sitting there and rushed to the car. I also had to explain to my unhappy babysitters what had happened.

Not happy at all, sort it out.

User

Took my 15 yr old son to see Kingsman and was refused entry. I, who have raised my son for 15.5 years was told that my word regarding my sons age may be untrue, in other words I was lying. My 5 ft 10 inch son with slight stubble and deep voice with size ten feet. He was taller than the man at the desk.

This happened in Cineworld Dundee, a place we have visited often over the years, but we will not be returning. My 15 yr old son and his 29 yr old sister along with many of my and their friends will be sharing my experience on social media sites to have others go to the Odeon instead of Cineword Dundee. I could understand if my son was small and young looking but he is quite the opposite to the extent we often have to say he is 15 so we get child prices as many assume he is older. Very disappointed customer after many years of custom.

User

It was so hot in the theatre it was nearly unbearable definitely need air conditioning

User

Awful customer service from Lyndon who was supposed to be a supervisor !

It was so hot in the theatre that everyone was really uncomfortable. I got up in the middle of the film to report the issue to Lyndon who smelled badly of body odor, looked fed up and really didn't care when I spoke to him. He said he would sort it and then just stood there doing nothing.

I was really upset and went to another member of staff who at least apologised and had a better attitude but all she could do would be to report it to Lyndon again who rolled his eyes as said there was nothing he could do. Fair enough if thats out with his control but his attitude was terrible. After going back in for 10 min I felt so ill I had to leave. I asked for a refund and was given one by sour faced Lyndon and left feeling so upset.

I called customer service to report this issue and the attitude of the guy on the phone was just as bad !
