Visit to Cineworld with my 7 year old and Parents as an after Christmas treat Star Wars in 4D . I had made a mistake with booking and this was quickly and profession sorted out by very helpful staff. Every member of staff we met was helpful and friendly and my parents loved the 4D experience thank you Cineworld

User

The staff are all friendly and the 4DX was so much fun. Plus with my unlimited card I get a 25% t the bar. Woop woop x

User

I tried the 4DX screening of Star Wars - Solo and I thought gutwap brilliant. The film alone was good but the added effects from the 4DX just made it perfect.

I highly recommend this for an excellent cinema experience!!!!!

User

I take my son who is 26 and has autism here most weeks I myself have some mobility difficulties so I always have to request some help this is where cinieworld get five stars every time I ask it's never too much bother to support stevie and myself most of the staff know him and go out of there way to make sure we are comfortable, when the disabled access seats are full they even get me a chair to sit up top I have to say the management should be very proud of their staff as they are great. One young man who has social difficulties himself is a star member always knowing what stevie wants and makes sure it's correct so thanks to him too. Thank for making our outing a great experience many other facilities could learn from your attitude and helpfulness

User

I never have a worry because the staff are very helpful! I like going to Cineworld to escape reality...

Was there yesterday with my granddaughter. My daughter couldn't make it as she was not very well but had payed for the 3 of us on line I had to take her bank card with me and went to the desk where said for tickets. Explained to the assistant what do I do to get the tickets she was very helpful told me what to do I also explained that my daughter couldn't make it after realising I was given the 3 tickets she said she could refund the money back on the card she got supervisor to do it for me. No problem. They were polite and very helpful. I noticed it wasn't busy and there was no cues people waiting. Only problem I had we were 15mins early I asked if possible we could use toilet got told we would have to come back out to the entrance. Which we did to discover that the people were going in and we were waiting staff were not helpful there. I did notice the seets were not recliners like the one at westerhailes cinema but hopefully yous will maybe consider of refurbishment in due course. Suppose that is where we are spoilt. It was our first time there I would not say I won't be back in would still use it. I can't talk for the kiosk where you get snacks or sweets and crisps and juice I just grudge paying these prices. Take our own snacks and drinks far cheaper. All in all wasn't bad at all.

User

Been members with my son for a few years now and saw deadpool in 4DX. Waste of the upgrade but awesome film.

Place getting a bit dated with the others all getting posh and fancy seats and really hate the queue at the sweet counter. They should stop selling tickets there too!!!

User

Slow service at the counter and a disinterested member of staff. I presume when the screen is swung round for the customer that not all patrons know what each colour means. I know grey is 'available' now, this after being casually tutted at. I used to be a member of the monthly card scheme but moved flat so it wasn't as practical for me. Having not been to Cineworld for a while, I think the place could do with a wee makeover as it's arguably looking a bit tired. It's clean though and the selection of films is great.

User

Minus you guys changing the movies around and not telling us it was OK, our movie was in screen 13 we sat down and oceans 8 came on which would of been OK if we weren't there to see TAG

User

I went with my son, who is a wheelchair user to see mamma Mia. I was a little disappointed with the layout for wheelchairs. 2 wheelchairs users can sit on a platform and the carer or person they are with sits to the side of them but at their feet level. just bizarre. My son is unable to feed himself so popcorn and snacks were out of the question. I just found the whole layout very anti social and difficult. Wheelchair users like to sit with their friends and family too!! Other than that it was comfortable and fine

User

I have an unlimited card and I usually go often. But the service is appalling at the kiosks. Usually the staff are talking to their friends whilst you r waiting on being served.and I'm still trying to figure out the discount your supposed to get. But the seats are really uncomfortable. Great choice of films though and very convenient for me to get home from.○○

User

Been a member for a while now and come every weekend at some point but the seats are not best anymore, not comfy.....needs new ones...more padding for my bottom

Getting tickets is quick but waiting to be served for snacks is painful most of the time. Ice cream is our thing and can take a very long time to get 2 sundaes......have waited over 20 mins before after putting in order to walking away with ice cream. No flavour of the month yesterday and I find asking the male colleges what flavours is underneath is a nightmare. We have to ask as usually on a Sunday morning the tubs are almost empty if not already empty.

Colleges especially the male ones look very fed up and really don't take any notice of the customers. They like to wonder behind the counter chatting rather than serving

User

Apart from the 20/25 minute wait for popcorn and juice our experience was quite pleasant... perhaps extra staff on the refreshment counters during peak times might help improve customer satisfaction!

User

The place is looking very tired and in need of a freshen up and I would definitely not buy any of the bags of sweets at £3.20 when they are in the supermarkets for £1 they may have a captured audience but no need to rip the p*ss

User

Just found out that morning showing for one of their films isn’t on until afternoon, so that’s a journey in wasted. Was asked if I searched their website and not google; yes I searched your website, it had a morning showing; but given your staff didn’t even know if film was showing, not surprised they have no clue what’s going on.

And after last year when cinema still charged me for a booking I cancelled but they still wouldn’t let me use the ticket for; I’ve decided after today I’m done with cineworld. Vue cinema was never this poor and they’re only wanting £4.99 and with them I don’t have to waste travel journey to get bad service.

User

I visited with my daughter and generally had a good time , however the price of the concession outlet is frankly a joke . My 10yr old and I shared popcorn and had a standard drink each and the total was more than the price I paid for tickets ( admittedly not full price ) however any way you look at it daylight robbery springs to mind . Parking was free and accessible . Screens and audio in the standard 2d are no longer leading and arguably behind where they should be . Staff need a good kick up the arse aswell . Hopefully 3D imax on Friday will be better

User

Visited yesterday with my husband and seven year old grandson to see Ferdinand. The cashier gave us three tickets together. However, my seat had restricted viewing. When I spoke to the manageress she offered my a refund and tickets for another performance. I said there was no way I was taking my grandson out as we had all been looking forward to it during the festive holiday. I said that it was illegal to sell tickets without restricted viewing stated or informed at point of purchase. She then offered me a booster seat. I am 67 years old ! I emailed them but have not had the courtesy of a reply.

User

This week I told cineworld about a very poor experience to one of their cinemas. Just one aspect of it involved my partner walking into the female toilets to see a man relieving himself in the communal sink. Today Cineworld got in touch to offer us some free popcorn. Didn't even mention the Indecent exposure - Cineworld your customer service is shockingly bad!

User

My other half got kicked out of the cinema today because he didn't have a ticket for the "Baby in Arms" even though it was requested. These tickets don't cost anything and the baby doesn't take up her own seat. The other tickets for the film were not refunded even though he didn't even get to see the ads. They said it was because he was being rude and aggressive even though he was not, but he did call the manager incompetent so I guess that is what the issue was.
