Excellent customer service by Darren this evening. He really ensured that two 13 year old boys were happy going into see Star Wars on their own! However not only were they happy with his amazing service myself as mum left cineworld knowing they were happy and safe. Well done Cineworld great service by Darren thank you

Went to see I feel pretty. Even though I booked on line and it stated that over 3/4 full, when we arrived there were only 16 people in there. Why bother blocking seats cineworld!!!

User

Staff were very bubbly and polite at the food and drinks counter. Was served very quickly.

The only thing that let down my trip to your cinema was that I had to sit through the whole film in my coat as it was freezing

User

Overall a great experience last night watching Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 3D IMAX. The seats were really comfy and well spaced. The only downside is the price of the food and drinks within the cinema...£3.75 for a bag of Malteasers that you can get for £1 in Asda is ridiculous. It also annoys me that the film is scheduled for 8pm but there is 30mins of adverts and trailers. This could definitely be cut down!

User

I like the fact that seating in all the screens is very well designed; you never get an obstructed view by the person sitting in front

User

Long queue for tickets/food. Not keen on the new decor in all Cineworlds but that’s just a personal thing. Very cold in the cinema, had to keep my coat on. Predictable film despite all its Oscars (Shape of Water).

User

Great film we saw Mamma Mia! Shame about the Rottweiler that scanned our tickets and told us to stand to one side as Screen 7 was running late! When I said that's ok we will queue outside 7, she said Oh no your not allowed! When I pointed out people were queuing outside the other screens she said they are allowed .......health and safety gone mad lol

User

Great film auditorium loved the special 4DX effects amazing!

Need to have more staff on food and drinks and more mature Managers place run by kids it appears! Visited Friday 5/1/18 3pm performance of Star Wars The Last Jedi.

User

Film was good. But I don’t and never understand is why is there SOOooo much of ads and previews in a kids film to the point my nearly 6yrs old had had enough and was like fed up bored and confused had to be passified by food which then ran out 20min into film. It was nice to be in cool theatre however after a point it was way tooo cold and could have been turned down a little. Wasn’t expecting to carry a jacket for my kid. Be great to see some smiling staff and team members too. Never seems to be happy to be working.

User

Avoid Seat K29 in the IMAX as the handrail cuts into the screen other than that a very good experience

Yesterday we were evacuated from the screen in the middle of our film which was Mama Mia here we go again and I had really been enjoying it.Suddenly the lights came on and an automated message announced we needed to evacuate and to use nearest exit or follow staff instructions. In the absence of any staff initially it fell to me to open the fire exit and encourage the rest of our screen to evacuate. We along with All the other screens then spilled out on to a side road until staff finally arrived and directed us round the side of the building. Then a huge number of people were stood outside the front by mc donalds not knowing what to do.Unsure of the nature of the emergency I would suggest that was quite unsafe as it is a glass fronted building .Eventually the large crowd was ushered over to the back of the car park near the railway line but this information only filtered through in dribs and drabs and people moved gradually.I would suggest this was a health and safety nightmare with a large crowd moving about then waiting in a very busy car park. There did not seem to be any one person in charge and staff though doing their best seemed to be getting mixed messages so I see that as a fault of management not individual staff. Their evacuation procedure needs reviewing. Then we were eventually after confusion allowed back in to our screen but we sat and waited with no info about whether we would get to see the end of the film. Then we watched the last 30 mins or so in the wrong order as they had failed to save the film at the point of evacuation and could not find the correct place to start it again.

User

The film was great. But the ongoing bug bear with Cineworld Stevenage is the slow service for tickets, drinks etc....and an even slower service for pick n mix and ice-cream counter. It is a constant disappointed. I urge everyone to take your own sweets and nibbles.

User

So I'm waiting for my film to start and I wanted to get some ice-cream before hand but you had one tub at the bottom unopened but the person behind the counter couldn't be bothered open it to do my ice-cream. He said yes we have vanilla but we can't give you any until we get another tub in there...that's after i queued up for 15 minutes because there was only one person behind there. I mean come on...vanilla...out of all the flavours that's what you don't have more of??

User

Paid £30+ for one adult and two kid tickets (not counting the treats purchased), only to have a baby in a car seat in the row in front crying. Are babies normally allowed in the main screenings?

User

Our screen was 10 mins late getting ready, bad organisation, people bottle necked at the doors, some trying to get out and our screen trying to get in, far too many people for the size of the building. Due to everything overrunning

User

It is always so freaking cold! You can feel the cold draft on you're head. I complain multiple times to management and the only thing they said is: "It's not our fault. All other screens are fine. If you're cold come out and let us know." Yeah, I'll stop watching the movie I paid for, to tell you again that it's cold! And news flash, ALL SCREENS ARE COLD! If here was another cinema in Stevenage I'll gladly go there.

User

The cost does not meet the value. Front seating is far too close for any kind of viewing experience worth paying for.

User

Screen 15: Lady Bird. Screen, seats, cleanliness all okay. Temp for last 1/2 hour of film seemed to be switched off.

Then went into Screen 5 for 2nd film. Screen, seats, cleanliness all okay. Temp way too hot but the sound for Darkest Hour was just dreadful to the extent that I walked out.

User

Just returned from not watching Jumanji. We are usually fans of the front seats but these are the worst. They are so close in Screen 5 (around 10 foot) that you can't see a thing. It's not unreasonable to expect to see the screen! We threw the popcorn away and left before the film started. Waste of £30.
