We wanted to keep you all updated with Glasgow's road closures next week. Although we love to see Glasgow busy with so many events it does make getting from A to B a tad trickier, so please be patient if your journeys are taking a little longer than usual. Superb service and attention given recently when I booked a cab for my son from Glasgow after he missed his train after a concert. Him and his friend neither knew Glasgow nor had been there on their own before. Agnes in the office was superb and when the boys were not where they were supposed to be for pick up she explained to the driver the issue and gave a description. She telephoned me to keep me up to date with what was happening and finally called to let me know when the boys were eventually in the cab. The boys told me the driver was lovely and let them use his charger to charge their phones and offered to stop at a Macdonalds if they were hungry or thirsty, thankfully they just wanted to get home. Outstanding Customer Service from both staff members and my huge thanks once again. Sorry its taken so long to post this review.

Never used your service and I don't normally leave reviews but I'm leaving a 5* review due to the way you appear to have managed the recently situation which has been widely publicised.



I hope it helps to offset the negative reviews made by others regarding the incident who have either not bothered to find out all the facts or perhaps don't have the capacity to process those facts.

I called with a few queries and I found the office staff incredibly helpful and the driver helped with my bags - was fab! Thanks City Cars - you're the best in the West (end of Glasgow that is) �

I can't believe city cars have increased their fares to Gla airport by 50p because the drop off point has moved ! Rip Off

Used this taxi service for a long time, twice tonight I had to phone back about a booking to be told I was put down as a no show despite being in the street within thirty seconds of receiving the call that the taxi was downstairs ( no text confirmation either) , phoned for an explanation and was abruptly hung up on, very disappointing from what is normally a great service

Just after seeing the video of one of your drivers effectively kidnapping a girl on her own and trying to extort an increased fare from her. Terrible!

It doesn't cost a thing to be polite on the phone � sheer arrogance pure rip offs also �

I booked a taxi for my daughter's holiday to and from the airport...on both occasions the driver charged 2 pound more than the set fair on the companies web page..even after I reported it the first time

Been using this service for almost a year now and it's gradually went from a reliable, on-time service to a complete joke to be honest. Too often now, you book the taxi for a specific time, 45mins in advance, the booking is taken, dispatched, 7mins away.... and then the driver decides to cancel on you. Ridiculous. The drivers shouldn't be taking the booking if they aren't going to fulfil it. When I called the booking line I was told that the drivers are within their right to take the bookings and cancel them at will if the don't want to go back into town or leave the city centre, as they are self employed. Surely this can't be the case? Surely they know where the booking is going to before they take it. System seems a bit of a mess. Don't think I'll be using your service again. Regular customer lost.
