Clachtoll Beach Campsite is a quiet family run touring caravan and camping site in Sutherland, in the North West Coast of Scotland, 5 miles North of the village of Lochinver.
🎪We now have 2 gorgeous fully furnished Bell Tents ‘The Bell Abodes’ for let so you can start enjoying your holiday as soon as you get here. Currently taking bookings for these 🎪
We have immaculate toilet & shower facilities, dishwashing sinks, laundry, Eco friendly toilet waste disposal point, electric... hook-ups, hot drinks/soup vending machine, hair straighteners/dryers, media charging lockers & a freezer available for ice packs.

We were certainly blessed with great weather for our stay last weekend, which helped. We hired one of the Bell Tents for a three night stay and loved it, the tent itself was really comfortable and spacious. One evening the weather was a bit cooler, so the children were delighted to have hot water bottles, we got into bed and to our surprise there was an electric blanket....bonus! What a treat when camping. There was a microwave and kettle and a few electric sockets too, incase you needed to charge up phones etc. There is also a nice cafe/small shop onsite called Flossie's for your essentials, our guys enjoyed the breakfast rolls. Toilet and shower facilities were great, no complaints at all and kept very clean, also owners and the staff are lovely and very helpful. The beach itself is only a few minutes walk away and very scenic. Clachtoll is also an excellent base for exploring a bit further afield, some beautiful bays and beaches and we even managed a trip to Durness, where we enjoyed a zip line across a beautiful beach. Would definitely recommend a visit here, hope to return again soon.

We stayed on 13 sites, this was the best site out of 13 that we stayed on, well kept , clean showers and very helpful staff, beautiful beach .

We stayed in the new bell tents, absolutely brilliant! Just rolled up and our holiday started. Amazing campsite with great facilities and the best beach in the world! We would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Stunning Location. The staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble, even offered to replace our tent pole when it snapped in high winds. We were due to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 5 we loved it so much. Good base to use for Achmelvich , Stoer point hike to old man of Stoer, Lochinver for shop fuel etc. Facilities on Campsite were brilliant and very clean. We will definitely be back thank you. Stayed overnight last Sunday. Great location,lovely site with the most modern facilities out of all the campsites we stopped at on our trip. Very welcoming and friendly staff,well worth a visit.

Stayed 3 nights 5th June. Welcomed by staff and shown our tent pitch. Amazing size of pitch. EHU and water. Car next to tent. Brilliant. Awesome showers and toilets. Weather was 30 degrees according to Flossies thermometer! It was superb. As was Flossies for a latte and biggest cream donut I've ever seen. The beach is stunning. I have highly recommended this site to many. Tents, campervans and also glamping. I will be back next year. Loved it. Simple.

Returning visit to an awesome campsite on our road trip. Clean facilities, helpful staff, and linked by a boardwalk to the white sandy beach.

My partner and I stayed here on Friday night, staff were extremely friendly & welcoming even Milo the dog! Facilities were immaculate the pitch we were on (29) was easily the best spot with sea views from our tent. The beach was simply gorgeous, along with other views. If we are ever up that area again we will defo stay again!

Just returned from a short stay at this fantastic campsite. Wonderful,stunning view from our tent, the weather was gorgeous until we were leaving! The facilities were superb & kept very clean, the owners/staff were polite & friendly, also very helpful. My wife & granddaughter really enjoyed the beach so yes we will definitely return here

Just back from a 2 night stay at the site in the middle of storm hector! Despite our first stormy night we had an amazing time and made full use of the amazing facilities. Steve was super helpful giving us a tour of the site and advice on how to pitch in the middle of the storm!



Amazing location, beautiful views and so peaceful. Lochinver was within a short driving distance with shops and eateries and plenty of lovely views along the way!



Make sure to take a trip to Achmelvich Beach just a few miles up the road! Just as beautiful as Clachtoll Beach!

Had the pleasure of staying here for three nights. From the second we pulled in we were met by Jim who couldn't have been more helpful, explained everything and showed us where everything was. We then met steve who was also extremely helpful. The campsite is a pleasure to stay on, very clean, very peaceful and very well run. Also dog friendly. Would highly recommend a visit to this campsite, like us you will not be disappointed.

Dropped into Clachtoll on our NC500 trip.. And so glad we did.

I can't sing this sites praises enough, absolutely amazing. Perfect location perfect spotless and super organised facilities. You guys have thought of everything.

Beautiful site ,very well maintained ,spotlessly clean and Louise is such a lovely helpful lassie .I would highly recommend this site. (only negative i could find ,a lack of female showers for the size of the site ) Beautiful location .

Amazing! We drove just over 7 hours from Newcastle Upon Tyne for the weekend. We had a great time and this site is truly a "reset button". Facilities are extremely good and owners are very friendly! Be prepared for the most unreal beaches. You need to see these to be believed. We'll see you soon!

Absolutely must visit. Beautiful place peaceful and the beach and water is just to die for. Definitely going back next year and people are so friendly easy to talk to. Cleanest campsite I have ever been to. I have recommended here to almost everyone I know five star �����

Absolutely LOVED Clachtoll! We arrived later than planned but that wasn’t a problem - the couple who run the site are friendly, helpful and keep a tidy and beautiful site. The toilets and showers are well maintained and the wee onsite shop is great for snacks, coffee, etc. We didnt have any evening meals but I’m told the food is great. The beach is gorgeous! Will be back �
