Claire Charles Designs Established in 1982 have been designing beautiful clothes for ladies that need to be perfectly turned out at the most important occasions in their calendar. We work in Silks, Cottons, Wools, Tweeds and easy care fabrics of exceptional quality. We offer an excellent off the peg service, tweaked for your requirements. In the last 20 years we have specialised in tartan, for Scottish dancers, weddings and official occasions. We make cool cotton tartan skirts in many designs and lengths that are washable, perfect for dancing. For balls and weddings we have silk tartan skirts and for official occasions, work related functions and Country Sports we have a wool weight washable tartan for sharp ladies jackets, trousers and skirts.
