Went out for a meal last night with my husband, as soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and got seated right away. We both ordered the duck on the specials which was cooked to perfection and 10/10 for the sticky toffee pudding!! That is the best I've had.

All staff were friendly, polite and attentive. All staff work well as a team and will definitely be back!

Visited the restaurant on Tuesday for lunch. Have to say it was lovely. Had a burger it was lovely. And my daughter had the fish & chips that was really nice too. We will be visiting again xxx

Been to coopers for lunch today with family,lovely little place..food was amazing !! I had the cajun chicken sandwich it was really good,we also had macaroni and the garlic & chilli prawns was brilliant..service was good the waitress was very helpfull,will definitely be back very soon ! Loved it �

Been here a few times now. Each time has been good. Today was great though. Lovely, polite, friendly and very efficient staff. Steak pie was actually one of the best I have tasted and the cocktails were fresh and made to order. I asked for one that wasn't on the menu and it was made for me no problem. It's a lovely modern place to eat. Price for lunch specials is very competitive. I'll be back next weekend, fingers crossed I'm in the mood for more cocktails ��

Went for a family meal on Fri for my birthday for first time and I couldn't fault it, some reviews I read weren't good but I thought the service was great, very attentive. Ordered steak which was beautiful although the black pudding was little overdone. My grandson had pizza and loved it. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Had yummy cocktails in the beer garden, seen few four legged friend enjoying the sun too which was nice to see they are also welcome. Will definitely be back.

Just got back from evening meal. Food was really good unlike the service. We we offered desert menu but didn't actually get it. After waiting for some time I caught the attention of the male wait person and asked for it, he had obviously forgotton. He came back with the bill!!!!!!! Needless to say we didn't see him again. Another male wait person came to settle the bill and I told him I was dissapointed. He asked me if I wanted the desert menu but we were ready to leave. He went to liaise with female team member at the front desk and they both left the desk conveniently as we were leaving. I could not make a formal complaint. So this is it. It's a shame because the meal was really good and we were considering booking a table for ourselves and our visitors on Easter Sunday. First time I've been out for dinner and been back in my own home for coffee within an hour.

Ate there last night. Lovely decor and atmosphere...relaxing seating. Stick to steaks and burgers and you’ll be ok...menu a bit fatty and greasy,not for delicate tummy’s. Menu could do with being lightened and freshened up...less greasy...new potatoes and salads would be good. Grilled fish and less batter...we had a ginormous tower of fatty onion rings. Staff need to be trained to be more observant and attentive and know their wines and serving cutlery...

Waitress who seated us and took our order was lovely and the drinks were really good but really not clued up on dietary requirements. Ordered the gluten free macaroni and my friends ordered other mains. Took 45 mins for it to come out but I don’t mind if the food is good. The food was okay. Stated on the gluten free menu that the chips are cooked in the same frier as gluten containing products so I told the waitress I couldn’t have any. When the mains came out, she said “I know you didn’t want chips but they’ve given you them anyway”. Pretty silly because I couldn’t have them touching the rest of my food. Glad my macaroni was in a separate dish. Also a handful of prepackaged leaves does not constitute a ‘salad’.

Food was lovely, shame about staff, we were given the lunch menu at almost 5pm, asked for the dinner menu for it to be plonked on the table and waitress walked away, no specials given no drinks order taken, never once where we asked how our food was, one of the cocktails had solid ice instead of slush making it difficult to drink, the only plus was a cheerful barman (tattoo on neck) but apart from that we had to listen to the staff complain about various things, had to ask to pay before leaving. Beautiful place but service really lets it down, really disappointed �

Service is shocking, 1 teaspoon between 5 as they "got hammered today" according to manager... still no apology.

Staff and manager need some customer service training and I can say that after over 20 years in service industry.

Has taken me a while to think of a positive thing to write and after nearly 3 hours I’m still at a loss. I won’t be back. I should’ve know what kind of treatment we were in for when another customer asked if her friend could get her meal since everyone else was finished!!! Was only in for coffee and cake, which although a deal as £3.95, is not by any means a great deal. Didn’t realise I had to pay extra for flavour or service and seemingly you can only get cream with your cake if you’re buying it as a desert to your main course. After plonking our cakes down in front of us (including one with extra hair and no apologies) we were just left sitting there for over an hour with no one even checking if we were ok. 1 tea spoon between 5 and when we asked for more a young boy came out drying 1.....I could go on but allegedly they were busy and can’t cope with a rush. If that’s the case please do 1 of 3 things



1 Hire more/competent staff

2 Limit your number of customers to 10

3 Close now



Tried to discuss it with the manager in a polite way and you’d think after 5 months of people complaining of their shocking service they would get it fixed. Again.....they were too busy.

Went out for a meal last night with my husband, as soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and got seated right away. We both ordered the duck on the specials which was cooked to perfection and 10/10 for the sticky toffee pudding!! That is the best I've had.

All staff were friendly, polite and attentive. All staff work well as a team and will definitely be back!
