... Orange Claw Hammer pay tribute to avant-garde weirdo rocker, Captain Beefheart ŌĆ£Psychedelic rock meets free jazz meets the blues! The raw power of the music of avant-rock icon Captain Beefheart, as interpreted by sax/guitar/bass/drums outfit Orange Claw HammerŌĆØ. ŌĆ£OCH are fabulous! Of all the things I saw in the Edinburgh festival the stand out performance was OCH in a cellar bar, the band is tight. OCH are a brilliant set of musicians with a love of Beefheart and a desire to enjoy and play with his work rather than try and recreate it. It is part homage, part wild eyed evening of grand riffs and virtuoso playing.ŌĆØ Mark Thomas, comedian/political activist.

Was in on Saturday night for the first time great bar friendly people and nice staff and music was brilliant definitely be back in on my next visit back to scotland

Love love love this place! Scott, Kit and the staff are fantastic and work really hard to give everyone a fantastic venue to enjoy! Love playing here with Two Wheels Good.. Crowd always get behind us. Best live music venue in Dundee!

I had arranged a hen for my best friend and I cannot thank the staff enough for what they had done, the area was decorated amazingly, the bride to be received a complimentary drink which she loved and all the staff and the atmosphere where amazing. It made for a good night had by all.

I booked the snug area for my partnerŌĆÖs 40th birthday and we had an absolute blast from start to finish. In the months leading up to the party any question i had was promptly answered and dealt with by Lisa who put things in place for us. On the day itself James helped to set up all of our directions, confirmed times for food/cake etc and took care of everything. Everything was laid out for our guests arriving and they all commented on how fantastic the venue and staff were throughout. An excellent place to book for any event! Highly recommend!

Had the match day package with our supporters club yesterday! Great deal and staff are great too! Will definitely be back later in the season! Thanks again!

recommend Clarks to my friends from outside Dundee when they visit.

Great food, service and value. ┬Ż16.50 for a very sizeable main course three beers and a minibus to take us from the door of the pub to the door of Tannadice football stadium and back. This could be the closest thing to Heaven that I've ever known!!! Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you the chef came out to ask us exactly when we wanted our meal

Awesome place me & my friend came in for a meal before our show. Food was ace very tasty could off ate it twice over chef brought our meals out to us & we asked him for a extra starter cause we was starving :) . All in all lovely staff... quick service & yummmmmy food,we will definately be back xxx

A really nice bar. Just in for a few drinks before a gig at fat sams but got a really good atmosphere. Next time will hopefully catch a band here.

A perfect place for a casual function! We had our leaving do here and were given complimentary drinks on arrival, the service was amazing! The staff provided table service for drinks and food which was very professional, they made the night so easy so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The band (The Mess Arounds) were great too, much better than a DJ! I looked around a few different places and Clarks was by far the best (and cheapest) choice, a great alternative to function suites and everyone that attended said they would definitely keep this place in mind for any events they have! Thank you for all your help everyone had a great night!
