Clifton Hotel

Went in on Friday night 7th July as a group of 8.

One thing we all agreed on was WOW !!! Food was amazing. All had starters and main courses, and a couple of us, as much as it was a struggle we managed a pudding., great choice as would have regretted not tasting the superb banoffee pie.

Top points to staff. From entering, to leaving the premises, very pleasant and friendly, making us all comfortable and welcome.

Myself, and all family and friends that were with me will most definitely be returning when all up next year.

We stayed there on Sunday night and thoroughly enjoyed it we have stayed there before and will definitely go back. The room was spotless and decorated to a high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal there along with our friends all four of us were so impressed would highly recommend the Clifton Hotel.

We had a small family celebration last night at The Clifton, in Lossiemouth, Moray.

Though we are based near to Lossiemouth this was actually the first time that a few of

our party had eaten there.

The staff, menu choices and our meals were 1st class.

My husband & I will definitely be going there again and we recommend the restaurant for any small

function for families.

The staff are very friendly and helpful the food is great and the breakfast is great the rooms are great and the view from our room was spectacular I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

Popped in yesterday for a bit of lunch whilst out with the family and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely surroundings with plenty tables, staff very pleasant and helpful too. Fantastic menu to suit everyone’s needs including the kids, my young granddaughter had fish and chips which she loves. There was also tables and seating out the back of the property and a play are too for the little ones. I would certainly recommend this hotel for food and I’m glad we came across it when we did.

Just had our lunch just beautiful sizzling cajun chicken and salmon fish cakes. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Once a year trip so worth it and never disappoints.

Just back from staying 2 nights at the Clifton Hotel, the room was clean and comfortable, the view was amazing, food was spot on and staff very friendly and helpful. Fantastic place, would recommend to anyone and if we ever venture back to Lossiemouth we won't be staying anywhere else, thanks for a lovely weekend.

Just back from a lovely meal this evening , loads of choice on menu , I had creamy Cajun pasta which I asked to be made not too spicy and was cooked to perfection , my friend had beef stroganoff which was also perfect , orange and mango cheesecake was delicious too , service was excellent and staff very attentive , highly recommend , will def be back soon.

Great food and service as usual, we eat here a lot and never disappointed :)

Came here today for lunch on recommendation from a friend. Fastic food and service. We will definitely be back. Waiter also let my son control the movie remote control......we may be here till supper time at this rate!!

It was good not to be ripped off by the price of the wine also.

A lovely little hotel, more a pub with rooms, in a contemporary setting. Clean, tidy and nicely decorated. My view was stunning- looking directly out to Lossiemouth beach and estuary. The price is extremely good value. Very good cooked breakfast (except the toast, it was awful). I could not get a WiFi connection on my laptop which was a nuisance but was able to get it on my phone. Overall, a good stay and would stay again.

Spent 2 nights on business and stayed in the suite room, would class more as a double with large king sized bed but still clean and comfortable. Food was very good, staff friendly but service can be a little slow. All in all good value for money.

Our third stay at the Clifton,nice clean room,fantastic view,and great Breakfast,plus very friendly Staff.

Breakfast tasty and good choice.

Only negative was that space in the room and bathroom was a bit limited. Shower cubicle no bath. If you have a mobility problem, it is something to consider.

But I would have no hesitation staying here again or eating here.

Love coming here to eat with the family. The food is always delicious, my only complaint is that there are barely any veggie options. Would love to see more, there's only so many times you can eat mac n cheese or a curry without getting bored..
