Clouds Property Management, Edinburgh

We are so glad we ended up with Clouds and Gavin and Neill! They took excellent care of us, found us a great apartment - in the middle of Fringe! And the few items that needed attention have been dealt with swiftly and professionally. I can't imagine getting the same level of service from some of the other competing companies. Truly, Clouds stands apart! Update: Sadly, my initial positive review has not remained consistent. Staff turn-over has been frequent and neglect has become the norm.

We recently rented out our flat with Clouds. Mark and his team was very efficient and organised, he was very straight forward and gave clear + professional advice. He also recommended good contractors to perform renovation work in the flat. Our flat was rented out in less than a week in very good condition. We look forward to their ongoing care of the flat.

Clouds has been exceptional. As a young professional moving up from Oxford I had the great displeasure of having to deal with a number of Edinburgh letting agencies, which rather unsurprisingly had terrible online ratings. Clouds was different: highly rated, very friendly and very accommodating. They made letting a property simple and easy. Gavin, who I dealt with, was really impressive. He was affable, knowledgeable, and keen to help, traits which I found to be a rarity with other letting agencies.

I would stress that landlords and tenants look at online reviews. The number of one-star ratings that even well-known letting agents have is remarkable, and in my experience, are a tell-tale sign to stay away. Clouds, like its rating, is brilliant.

I had an issue with the shower. Even though it was weekend, Mark was very helpful and efficient. He offered me to pay a Gym in order to have a shower and Monday morning it was fixed. I am extremely happy with the service.

I rented short term with Clouds and had a good experience with the service provided. They were able to offer me a property that suited my requirements & budget within a short time since first contacting them. The flat was in top condition and I loved the location. I would use Clouds again if I needed a short term rental.

Gavin has been incredibly helpful and professional, and helped us to find our new home in Edinburgh quickly. As the previous tenancy hadn't ended, he arranged for us to rent a fantastic short-term flat in the interim with our German Shepherd, which was arranged with in a couple of days, and has looked after us and all our emails since. We're now in our new flat and Gavin made the transition (and paperwork) a breeze. Even today he's helping us with a couple of bits around the flat that need some TLC :) Clouds are a pleasure to deal with and we are glad to have them look after us.

Please ask the agency for the final price on the property. Reason is, we went to the viewing as first viewers and had been told to offer more for the rent than advertised when we expressed our interest. I emailed Director of the business and he replied that this is dictated by other potential tenants!!! Please do not get yourself into this situation - ask for the price otherwise you will be asked to offer more. Also landlord is blamed for this in this case - as highly demanding. I have nothing but good things to say about Clouds. Our agent Gavin was very helpful in our search for a property and within three days we were in our new flat.

We have recently moved to Edinburgh from overseas and when we were in the process we contacted a few property management companies. Clouds was BY FAR the most professional and friendly and they genuinely seemed to care about our situation so we decided to go with them. Best decision ever! The process was seamless and they were extremely accommodating due to our circumstances (being overseas at the time). We are now in the property and we love it. Clouds continues to provide us with an excellent service and we can't recommend them enough.
