Went to the open day today, weather was not to great but the fishing made up for it. Tons of fish moving, fished for 5 hours ended on 18 to the net with 1 of them being about the 6lb mark. Great day out, staff were great and good hard fighting fish. Will be back soon

Was up today with the Crammond boys , myself & David Bertram & Harry gibbons tagged along , Harry had 5 , I managed 8 & Davy 9 ... shit conditions cold & windy .. then bright sunshine .... but some really nice decent sized fish , my biggest 4lb 4oz , harry had 1 around the 5lb mark , & Davy had 1 bigger ... Well Ran fishery , very helpfull staff there to help out & keep you right , will defo be back

Just had 4 hours of great fishing on the boat with my dad and my son. 2 great fighting fish caught 1 x blue at 4lb and 1x 2lb rainbow. It was a bit bright at times but that didn't stop the fish. Excellent afternoons fishing will definitely be back.

Just back from a 4 hours session first time at the fishery and what a cracking place great fighting fish and plenty of them always moving!! Highly recommend giving it a try, owner keen on advising and very friendly caught 4 and missed plenty

Had a great days fishing on Clubbiedean with friends from Australia. Everyone got fish and it was a very easy option to get to from Edinburgh.

Very enjoyable.

Had a great Saturday afternoon with the dry flies. 8 cracking rainbows to the net and 2 that fought hard and got away. Lovely fishing from the boat in dappled sunlight. Will be back as soon as possible!

Great day the day . 7 fish on buzzers returned 4 drop 2 and snapped 3 wasn't expecting that crazy day should have had more if a didn't get lazy lol but worth the money great sport . The boss man was very helpful and pleasant thanks

Great Water. Went up for a nights fishing so as i arrived the fish where already on the top feeding and if your like me and prefer to fish dryflies this place will not disappoint you. Landed 3 fish, lost one fish as it hit me so hard it straightened my hook all the fish i caught were hard fishing not a lazy one among them.

I will be going back for more as the stormy weather killed the evening for me lol.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

As for the water itself beautiful all around peace and tranquility even came close to a wild deer cant ask for anymore than that.

Fished Clubbiedean today with my 2 mates and there we 5 year old nephew and his we mate. Can safely say they loved every minute of it. Caught plenty rainbows and 5 lovely wild broonys. Plenty fish on top of the water. And Stevie is a brilliant owner helpful and friendly.

First time fishing in a good while and choose a great fishery to start with. Excellent service and advice will definitely go back now i have the bug for getting back into fishing � �

First night out fly fishing since last year, first ever visit to clubbidean and could have been more friendly and helpful on arrival. Will definitely be back. Cheers

Brilliant place water very clear beautiful fish fight like trains fish rising everywhere managed 8 to the boat tonight missed a few will definitely be back staff very friendly even had barbecue on cheers stevie and misses ����

Brilliant days fishing 6 hours each both me and my dad had our limit within 4 hours lovely place to fish 100% be back

Beautiful tranquil spot nestled in the Pentland hills plenty of trout to had at Clubbidean!!



Purely as a bonus to any nature lover my advice would be to bring a set of binoculars on Any given day and enjoy the huge diversity of wildlife that this venue has to offer it is incredible.



On my last trip here I will give examples of a few of the residents I saw sheltering and feeding at the reservoir: many mallard duck!, gosander, teal, tufted duck, grebe,s even a fox in broad daylight stealthily creeping through the woods on the far shore.





Stevie the new fishery manager is a gentleman. enthusiastic about his sport and keen to help and assist anyone old or new to the hobby enjoy a good day at his place.



Cracking water can't wait until the spring when I shall definitely be back to do battle once more with some cracking trout.

Absolute cracking place!! Was up today for 6 hours, caught 2 on dries, missed a few, and seen countless fish rising from the minute we arrived, till we left. Best fight i've had on the fly rod in a long time!! Staff are brilliant aswell! Very helpful and friendly! Will definately be back!

6 hours c/r was a bit bright to start seen plenty fish moving had 2 in the last 5 mins lost one rowing back the place is beautiful definitely be back

Its good to fish i .did not catch till the 3 rd time .but was

bait fishing .seen a lot caught on the fly.4 got two nice fish five an half pound one

And a 2 pounder. BRILLIANT.
