On 1 August 2013, Clydebank College (Clydebank), James Watt College (Greenock) and Reid Kerr College (Paisley) are merged to form West College Scotland, one of Scotland's largest Colleges. With more than 11, 000 learners each year, from over 55 nationalities, the College attracted both direct schoolleavers and returning adults to its full-time, part-time and lifestyle programmes. Students could choose to gaina qualification such as an HNC or HND and immediately enter employment, whilst others chose to follow a programme lead on to further study. Many attended to upgrade their workplace skills, and others enrolled to pursue a dream they have contemplated for years. . . . .
