Clydesdale Bank (Permanently Closed)

As the last reviewer says, the staff could n't be more helpful and friendly and have on a number of occasions successfully sorted out issues that the ineffectual call-centre was unable to do (because it appears the latter is staffed by script readers and not trained bankers). Clydesdale are making a big mistake closing this branch, because one of the main reasons that people bank with Clydesdale in the Aboyne area is because of the local branch and its staff. Once it's gone, there will be no reason to stay with the bank and people will vote with their feet and transfer to a better quality on-line bank. It's a shame that Clydesdale don't understand customer loyalty, and what engenders it - it's not giving away spurious sweeteners, such as gig tickets on Twitter, which is their present strategy, it's concentrating on quality products and providing personal service that make people feel valued. Still, their loss.
