THIS COMPANY HAS NOW FILED THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 29TH JULY 2016 SHOWING NET WORTH OF £555. DURING OUR INVESTIGATIONS WE DISCOVERED THAT MR CAMPBELL CHEATED US BY CHARGING FOR VARIOUS TESTS WHICH SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT BY BAKERFIELD TESTING SERVICES (SCOTLAND) LTD, COMPANY NUMBER SC516380, OF WHICH MR CAMPBELL IS THE SOLE DIRECTOR AND SHAREHOLDER. THESE TESTS WERE NEVER CARRIED OUT AND HE BASICALLY STOLE OUR MONEY. WE ARE ALSO DISCOVERING THAT MR CAMPBELL LIED TO US AT VARIOUS OCCASIONS. WE WILL CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE ALL HIS COMPANIES AND WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW AS WE DISCOVER NEW THINGS ABOUT HIM. THIS PERSON SHOULD NEVER BE TRUSTED WITH ANYONE'S MONEY.

Avoid this guy (Colin Campbell) like plague - landlords gets charged for things which never happened, the company was only incorporated on 28th April 2014 and has filed only one set of accounts to 31st July 2015 and at that time it was only worth £76 in total. The company has failed to file the accounts for the year to July 2016 and this is a sign that the company may be removed by the Companies House or the directors are planning to liquidate it which may leave a lot of landlord unpaid- Please see the evidence below. Colin, you know me very well.

FOR THE POEPLE WHO LEFT POSITIVE REVIEWS FOR THIS BUSINESS, I URGE YOU TO GO TO COMPANIES HOUSE WEBSITE AND SEARCH FOR CMC PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LTD (SC476218) AND SEE FOR YOUR YOURSELF THAT THE MANAGEMENT IS SO PROACTIVE THAT IT HAS FAILED TO FILE THE ACCOUNTS OR PERHAPS TACTICALLY NOT FILED THE ACCOUNTS.

Using my mates account because whoever answers the reviews on here seems to threaten legal action to all the negative reviews.

I was a tenant of CMC for roughly a year. My overall experience was not too bad, however one person really made my opinion of this company sour.

The lead up to moving in went well, viewing was held by a man with tattoos all down his arms (sounds a bit dodgy but he was very pleasant and helpful). Then I had email exchanges and the paperwork signing with a young gentleman Brendan who was also very helpful and polite before and during my tenancy until he stopped working at the company. Also spoke to another young lad a couple of times throughout my tenancy (I forget the name) who was always polite and had a nice manner.

I had several issues around my flat but they were fixed in a decent amount of time and was always given notice for when someone would come. Same with inspections.

However I unfortunately had the pleasure of talking to the manager Tabbi on a few occasions about problems I was facing. She is a very rude woman and was very unhelpful each time I spoke to her. She would snap down the phone at me and once she told me to "hurry up" because she was leaving the office. There was nothing major but when I am spending a lot of money each month on a flat that they get paid to manage and I am getting spoke to like a piece of rubbish then it really is unacceptable. When I gave my keys back In the office I asked tabbi about my deposit as I was moving into a new flat and would appreciate the money quickly she bluntly said they "can't speed it up and if you have an issue then phone safe deposit scotland" - When I attempted to respond she then said that I should speak to the other lady in the office because she was too busy.

Maybe a 1 star review is slightly harsh, but when I am being treated that badly from the "manager" I think it is acceptable.

Tabbi was very unpleasant to speak to and made me hesitate about ever phoning the office in case she picked up the phone. The owner of the company should really take my review on board and ask tabbi to speak to people with more respect, it is a horrible situation to be in.

A fantastic experience with the friendly, helpful team at CMC! We recently went through the application process for a property with CMC and were really impressed by how friendly and helpful everybody was in the office, particularly Tabbi who was our point of contact, chased up our references and helped the whole process to go smoothly. We now have a lovely new home to move into and couldn't be more delighted with the service we received from CMC. Definitely one of the best property agencies we have dealt with in Edinburgh!

Nothing but problems. All the staff blame each other for not doing what their asked and nobody takes ownership. Not sure why i'm paying CMC as they do nothing

This is a disgraceful company who could not care less and lie through their back teeth, pass the buck and don't give a damn about tenants or landlords by the sounds of other reviews IN A PROPERTY FULLY MANAGED BY COLIN CAMPBELL The tenants were left without hot water from July 25th until August 31st 2016 and all Colin Campbell did was lie about when contractors were attending and ignore all emails and phone calls. The state of the property was bad with broken window, toilet seat, a filthy mouldy fridge, cupboards full of JUNK AND RUBBISH as you can see and when he was told about this he said he would not do anything as it was 'like that when you moved in so TOUGH! ' DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Colin, regarding 165 Dalkeith Road , your tenants have no key to get in the front door, your office told them there never has been a key ?? strange as my tenants have had keys for the past 7 years. The lock now needs replaced and new keys issued as per Mcewan and frasers request. young people need to feel safe by getting into their home and having a secure front door.
