It's been a half century since the Beatles released the White Album, and to mark the occasion there is a fantastic new stereo mix for 2018 by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell. This is available in a seven disc individually numbered super deluxe version, which includes the Esher Demo tracks 1-27, 50 additional session recordings, and on a blu-ray there is the 2018 mix in high quality PCM stereo, DTS 5.1, and Dolby True HD 5.1. And also a transfer of the original mo...no mix. The 6CDs and blu ray are housed in a 168 page hardbound book with rare photos and new introductions by Paul McCartney and Giles Martin. The 3CD or 4LP deluxe version combines the 2018 mix and the Esher demos.
And finally the standard 2LP version brings you the 2018 mix with faithfully recreated original artwork. All of these are available this Friday!
We are anticipating a lot of demand for these so better get down here bright and early Friday morning to pick up a copy for the Beatles fanatic in your life!

Love this place. Vinyl , folk , rock and stuff you've never heard of. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The vinyl room is impressive as is the rest of the shop. I got the new Sleaford Mods album , a Neil Young transparent single, and a couple of more. Great to see it still thriving.

First time I opened Coda's door, my gaze fell upon "Cubist Blues" by Alan Vega / Alex Chilton / Ben Vaughn. That's the place, I thought. Then I headed towards the vinyl room. Thank you.

Coda has been a favourite Edinburgh record shop of mine for a while. I only buy vinyl and I've had several items ordered for me. (Tarantino soundtracks and Twink's Think Pink come to mind). Others set aside on release day if I'm away (Motörhead's Bad Magic, Neil Young & Promise Of The Real's Monsanto Years and David Gilmour's Rattle That Lock). Helpful and friendly staff. I've even blagged a David Gilmour poster from them! Lovely selection for Record Store day. (Got Bowie's Cracked Actor triple vinyl and The Pink Floyd's Interstellar Overdrive 12", also the new Bowie 12" on clear blue vinyl). A happy bunny indeed!

Bought yesterday the new Yes and Tangerine Dream Albums on Vinyl.

Bought 3 Albums on Vinyl here. Was on Holiday about an hour or 2 away in The Borders. I got Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark,, Chris Hillman,David Crosby-The Boarding House and The Who- My Generation and The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan.The first two only £9.99 each! One of them a double. Bob Dylan only £18.00. Great Shop with a very varied selection. Could have spent hours there if my Wife let me! One thing I didn't notice 'til I got back to our Holiday cottage was that on the receipt it said I was served by Zimmerman. Maybe just coincidence but it amazed me! Thanks hope to visit again next time I'm on Hols round your way. I live near London so it's a long journey otherwise.

Been shopping for my traditional music and song collection at Coda for more than 20 years. Staff all knowledgable, pleasant, patient, and helpful. A veritable treasure trove. Have regularly recommended Coda as a first stop to visitors, family, and friends.

Always go here when in Edinburgh and always find something remarkable. Fantastic world and folk sections. Love it.
