Cofton Coarse & Carp Fishery offers fishing exclusively for the guests of Cofton Country Holidays and there is no closed season so you can holiday and fish whenever you wish.
Fishing permits are available by the day or the week. If you are new to fishing you can hire a rod with tackle and even book in on fishing training. We have a dedicated fishing tackle shop on site offering a choice of baits like mealworms, live maggots, pellets and sweetcorn as well as whips, landing nets, rods tackle and other accessories.

A real character fish this one. This fish survived an otter attack on the fish farm early in its life but it’s flourished now topping 20lb. The Bream fishing on the Match lake has been great for a couple weeks now with some great nets being taken. Here’s Roly Palmer with 32lb of Bream and the odd roach taken today on waggler fished maggot. On top of this he had 3 carp to 8lbs. . . #fishing #bream #breamfishing #wagglerfishing
What a fantastic addition to our family holiday at Cofton Country Holidays. We had two fishing sessions with the resident pro fishermen Roly what a great way for children and adults to experience fishing for the first time and a added bonus was all four of us caught fish thanks for making our holiday !!!
Lovely lakes and scenery, back next year.
Lovely fishing last week. Thanks to Luke ponds now getting back to former glory. Doubles from both Trusham and Luscombe (to 16lb). Nearly all fish caught on float tactics with bread, meat or maggots on the hook. Not a boilie or pellet in sight!!!!!!!!!!!
Just returned from a weeks stay at Cofton luke was very friendly will definitely be returning next year for two weeks on them lakes!
Good fishing, yes can be hard and don't expect to pulling one fish out after the other.(I only fish for carp). The lakes do have a good number of carp. I have had a lot of fish in double figures out. Ideal for a relaxing day on the bank. No night fishing which is the only bad thing I can really say about it. Nice open swims a rod pod is really needed due to the decked swims. Overall cracking little lakes for a bit of fun.
Fantastic day yesterday. Never fail on these beautiful lakes. Good head of bream, roach.perch and rudd.
