Wonderful afternoon tea yesterday. The whole experience was a delight. Staff all lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Food great, we willl be back soon . Thank you

What an absolutely amazing day in such a beautiful setting - the staff were attentive and assisted beautifully with the surprise birthday afternoon tea. The selection of savoury and sweet options were delicious. The experience was decadent and highly recommended.

What a wonderful experience. Abbie, the hostess, was absolutely fantastic - as we were coming from Hampshire, all arrangements had to be made via email. Her response was always prompt & she made every effort to ensure we would have a wonderful experience. It was so lovely to meet her when we arrived.

The waiting staff were equally impressive & had obviously been pre-warned of my cheese allergy. Substitutes had been made & we all thoroughly enjoyed the very unusual but delicious foods on offer. Nacho, our waiter also deserves praise for his friendly, welcoming manner.

All in all, one of the best Afternoon Teas I have ever had (& I've had a fair few!)

What a fabulous place to enjoy a truly decadent Afternoon Tea. Nowhere can compare! Was an excellent Christmas present & exactly the best choice. Hope we receive it again this Christmas! Can’t praise it highly enough, especially loved the savoury choices. However, the sweet trolley was ultimate indulgence. Not forgetting the Signet Gin Cocktail! Had to be done!! Feeling thoroughly spoiled!! �

My family and I visited Colonnades for a decadent afternoon tea as part of a @TastingScotland trip. It is truly the finest afternoon tea experience any of us have had the pleasure of experiencing. From the excellent service provided by manager Glenn and his team, to the exquisite savoury and sweet stands we devoured, the opulent surroundings and the fact you can match your tea to your courses, this wonderful location, is a must visit in Scotland's capital!

Have been here twice now and it's my favourite place for afternoon tea and the value is amazing as you get so much food for your money. There's something for everyone and it's great to try new things. Service is brilliant and the atmosphere is lovely - can't wait to go again!

From making the reservation to checking out every detail was wonderful. We were a party of 24 and nervously waiting for news of what a hurricane had done to our homes in the states. The staff was compassionate and gave us a splendid escape from our impeding reality. The tea was lovely, food flavorful, desserts impeccable and service was flawless. They were even more accommodating to myself the only vegetarian than I have ever been before. Thank you for a great experience

Fantastic afternoon tea with delicious savoury and sweet treats. First time I have had a square scone! Amazing selection of Teas, I tried a couple but really enjoyed the Russian caravan blend. Fabulous surroundings with such attentive staff. I would only complain about the distance to the toilet but to be honest needed the exercise to work off some of the calories.👍

Becoming a firm favourite for afternoon tea. Service is excellent. Staff seem to know just when you need a fresh pot of tea. Both the savouries & patisserie are delicious. We asked for vegetarian for 1 & the separate tray was equally beautiful. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a little peace & luxury.

Always fantastic! Varied choices for the afternoon tea every time we come the menu changes which is great as me and my partner love to try different and new things all the time!



We came on Monday 2nd of October to celebrate our 6th year anniversary.



My partner proposed to me. Absolutely perfect surroundings!



The staff are always helpful and this time they helped my partner out by putting the engagement ring on the desserts tray.



Cannot fault anything and such a lovely place to be in for such a special occasion!



We will be back for our 6th/7th time �

Afternoon tea today was fabulous! Staff couldn't do enough for you and nothing was a trouble! The savoury to start was good but the cakes are to die for! We mentioned it was my birthday and one of my cakes came out with a candle! It's the little things in life that make you happy! Well def be back!! �

The afternoon tea was delicious a wonderful selection of savouries and sweets rounded off with a sorbet to clense your pallet. It is one of the best afternoon teas I have had...

5 stars indeed. Set in the historic surrounds off the law courts. The Signet Library is an excellent place to relax over Afternoon Tea with lots of history around you. Excellent food and drinks. Great staff and service. Made you feel right at home as soon as you walked In tbe door. Really enjoyed the whole experience. A must visit and not forgetting to try their own Signer Gin. Delicious. Thank you to all the team at the Library. Looking forward to my retun.
