Passing the driving theory test, most of us haven't given that a thought for years (if we even had to do it in the first place). . . Today's learners face a dismal pass rate of 50% (DVSA, 2018). The test itself isn't hard, but the materials available to learners are unengaging, demotivating and ineffective at teaching the theory of driving. Failing can demotivate, waste money and set back professional and social development. Teenagers and young adults don't have the time, or want to give the correct attention to the highway code, a 36, 000-word long legal document. Our founder, Matthew, failed his test because he couldn't engage with the apps and books purchased for him by his mum. A familar story in households across the UK. He wanted to create a more engaging educational product, so he founded Colour Academy, and created the worlds first educational colouring book for the theory test. Designed for visual learners it helps students enjoy, engage and memorise more information faster. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words!
