Conveyancing Direct (Scotland)

All I can say is Chris from the Green Team has been an angel in the last few weeks after a long 9 months of stress selling our home in England to move home to Scotland!
He was always very helpful, patient, Professional and a good listener! An asset to the Company!
A very simple to understand process with Conveyancing Direct ( unlike selling in England!!)
and I would Personally Recommend them highly!

It pains me to have to give them 1 star. Sent their "partner" a letter 3 months ago outlining complaints we have with the builders and other companies involved in the process and he hasn't even had the decency to reply. We have had no choice but to take this to the Law Society of Scotland for their advice. I would not recommend anyone to use them, the extra money for a proper solicitor is well worth it.

First time using this firm after they were recommended to me, if your looking for constant contact they might not be for you as I was panicking a bit in the early days about lack of communication but when it came to the transactions they were there to answer any questions I had. Thanks to Chris and Simon for their help and definitely cheaper than I've paid in the past.

I only have positive things to say about the service we received from Conveyancing Direct. FIrstly the price is very competitive and we saved a substantial sum in comparison to other options. We had various issues with solicitors at the other end of the chain and the Conveyancing Direct Green Team constantly saved the day. They were accurate and efficient and I can't thank them enough. We are so glad we made this choice.

Generally I'm quite satisfied with their service. My case was a bit unusual but my solicitor gave me professional advice and helped me to get good deals from the seller. The whole process and transaction were smooth and simple apart from sometimes there's nobody answering calls. I would use again and recommend to others.

They charge fee in front. It looks cheaper, but actually I have no clue what they are doing when I'm selling my house as I'm hard to get a paralegal response. Please do not use them

We have recently used Conveyancing Direct to complete a private purchase only.

We had a fantastic experience, with constant communication via email and first class post. Process was explained well at each step so we felt comfortable with our first ever home purchase.

Price was substantially cheaper than their equivalents in Edinburgh.

Would recommend.

WORST CONVEYANCING COMPANY EVER!!! currently buying a property and the seller is using this company. Between the buyer and seller this was going to be smooth sailing until she appointed this conveyor! delay after delay, not answering phone calls, solicitors quitting and the job not being reallocated to someone else, mistakes and lies every time you speak to them (very rarely!), only getting anywhere when you demand to speak to managers and then back to square one again. Avoid this company at all costs - they must be cheap for a reason. I have a lot of experience of property sales, this is the worst. And its my first home for myself and thanks to CD its turning into a mightmare! never go near this company, there are horrendously unprofessional, rude and possibly going against their codes of ethics! If I could give them a negative rating I would. I regret my seller taking this company (presumably) because they are cheap. CHEAP FOR A REASON!!!! STAY CLEAR, theyr turned what should be an exciting fun couple of months into a nightmare!
