We had a wonderful 50th birthday celebration dinner for 10 people. All meals were lovely and plates were cleared. Highlights were sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce, sizzling fajitas, and fish and chips. Thank you for great service from the very friendly and efficient staff. We are looking forward to our next visit already!

Was here today for the first time it certainly won't be our last. Food was delish and staff very friendly. Restaurant was spotlessly clean would highly recommend

Stopped of for lunch yesterday food was excellent beautiful presentation as was the service our waiter was Conner would highly recommend ���

Really friendly and welcoming place, nice atmosphere. We booked online with requests for a round table and it was a birthday meal. A surprise complimentary drink for the birthday girl and an extra pot of tea. Can't complain at that. Food was lush, we all really enjoyed it (except one picky 11 yr old). First time there but I'll be back for sure.

We both had the mushroom starter with garlic bread which was very tasty and nice and hot

I had the roast beef and my husband had the roast chicken ..both were delicious and when I asked for an extra jug of gravy it was quickly presented with no problem

We couldn’t manage desserts but did have some lovely coffee to end our meal with.

Me and my partner went there for dinner and it was fantastic. Food was fresh and full of taste. Staff was very friendly and the place has a very nice atmosphere.

Just had a birthday lunch for 16 adults and 2 kids, the food was great and the staff could not have done enough for us. Would definitely recommend.

Had a Groupon voucher as a birthday gift for steak and wine for two, I must say it was delicious even the house was a very good wine staff lovely attentive would recommend it .

Black pudding and brie stacked on toasted bread 10/10



Breaded chicken fillet katsu burger 10/10 , on a par with shake shack in new York , outstanding .



Mini steak pie for the wean (lovely dad)



She wasn't keen on the dessert chocolate brownie souffle I'm sure it was , whipped chocolate mousse in a glass topped with chocolate on top (bit sickening)



Friendly welcome only people in at the time for lunch ,

We went for high tea and stupidly read reviews before going as I hadn't been before but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Food was absolutely fine, not fine dining but we didn't expect that with a groupon deal. What we got was edible and tasty, along with a lovely soft scone, small brownie and homemade shortbread ( which was amazing) and a pot of tea to finish our meal off we went home full and happy. The girls who were working Tuesday 30/05/17 around 5.30pm were polite, smiling and pleasant. No complaints from us. Thank you 👍😊

Have been eating here for over a year as on Sundays kids eat free. I always book via their website. Last few times we have been in the service is terrible. Ordering slow, clearing plates slow. The food has always been good no complaints there. Last time we went we were told the kids eat free is only 1 per paying adult. Nowhere on website does it say this and for over a year my 3 kids were free hence this was our fav place to eat without breaking the bank. Won't be back for a while now.

Went here with my partner and the main was lovely, but the dessert when it came, an apple crumble with custard and ice-cream, the pastry was burned and ice-cream was shoved ontop of it to try cover it up, the custard was white sauce it did not have the consistency flavour or look of custard, my partner had ordered a brownie sundae....there was nothing but icecream and cream and a tiny drizzle of hard.chocolate sauce...needless to say we didn't eat them and we noticed that every other customer had staff ask them how their food was...we were the only ones who were not approached, in the end we left. Me and my partner we were both dissapointed by both lack of customer service and the quality of the food......I couldn't even send it back with no staff approaching us even when called on and being a trained chef I'd want to know if my food was not up to mark. Really will not return here

From arriving until food reached the table.... 1 hr 20 mins! 2 of us dining in a quiet restaurant.... and only 1 course ordered. Will NOT return.

To be honest a 1 is being generous service was terrible and food was disgusting nachos straight out of a bag all smashed and steak pie with just lumps of fat creamy mash was just lumpy potatoes, no seasoning on any of the food soup was bland and macaroni was just pasta and flavourless sauce ��

My wife took me for my birthday dinner, never again, place wasn't busy, waited ages for a menu, people arrived after us had meals ordered before we were even approached, ordered roast beef dinners, yorkshire pudding was Inedible, roast potatoes were horrible, never finished our meal, wouldn't recommend it to anyone,

Food was lovely but services was absolutely shocking! 30 mins for ice cream, kids were fed up, my son got a fish bone stuck in his throat, was screaming and they didn’t care they brought bread over when asked but no help atoll!
