Cook's Day Off is a local cook school based in Kintore offering Italian cooking classes, one to one tutoring and corporate team building experiences. Professional Italian Chef Samantha Pack, launched the cook school in January 2018 and specialises in creating and mastering authentic Italian cuisine. With a strong focus on quality Scottish produce and learning how to cook whilst having fun with family, friends and colleagues, Cook's Day Off offers a range of hands on, interactive classes which inspire and teach you the art of Italian cooking. You will not only improve your cooking confidence but Samantha's classes also help you to discover authentic Italian cooking skills. Classes take you through the preparation and techniques of classic Italian dishes including freshly made pasta and sauces, pizza, gelato, macarons as well as a variety of masterclass options. Samantha believes that everyone can cook. It is simply a matter of self-confidence. Combining her passion for food and teaching, Samantha is dedicated to sharing her skills and expertise to help people take the time to not only learn to cook but also enjoy and appreciate preparing quality food and discover that Italian food is simple, healthy and delicious. The relaxed and welcoming classes are suitable for all occasions and cover everything from mother and daughter sessions, couples, groups of friends and special occasions through to corporate and team building events. To date Cook's Day Off has worked with over 400 people across the region who have taken part in lessons and returned for more. The cook school is set to achieve one goal - to get more and more people cooking using quality local produce and creating and enjoying simple but great food.
