I first came across ABT whilst shopping for my own wedding dress a few years ago when the shop was a small room next to there house. Shopping for a wedding dress was a lovely experience with Karen and Jolene they were so helpful and lovely and I quickly found my wedding dress! I’m delighted to still have a relationship with them now from supplying flowers to the shop, creating flower displays for the w...indows and painting the “yes to the dress” sign.
Karen and Jolene have worked so hard to build/expand their business and reputation in the wedding world!

The first wedding of the year! with a soft palette of seasonal spring flowers and foliage for Craig and Fiona married on Saturday at The Rhynd in Fife. It was such a beautiful day! Congratulations again to you both!🥂

I’ve been looking back at some of last years work that I haven’t yet shared now I’ve caught up on my admin pile!😀Here are some photos from the Aqua vitae press launch at Lindores Abbey Distillery in early spring 2018.
I’ve included my initial sketch provided to the client so you can see the work that goes into my planning and installations! Being artistic certainly helps others visualise what I am thinking and it’s good to see sketches become reality!
The clients brief was t...o create a fresh, botanical feel for the press launch so together we chose a palette of lush green foliage, herbs, branches, white anemones, ranunculus and hellebores which I think worked well against the dark green bottles.
No horrible oasis was used in any of this installation only moss, chicken wire, and hidden glassware full of water to keep the flowers alive.
I’m looking forward to being back at lindores in the summer for a wedding it’s a beautiful setting for a wedding.

1st of March. St David’s day! I’m Looking forward to seeing some of the more unusual varieties of daffodils and narcissi coming up soon! They are always a bit later. These were some of the different varieties💛 I grew last year on the farm. It’s so hard to choose a favourite..

I think Mr P is impressed with the Eucalyptus grading!😀All the eucalyptus from yesterdays harvest is now weighed, bundled and all sold👍🏻

Today's job cutting back the Eucalyptus!🍃🐨 I will be grading the varieties tomorrow ready for sale. Please get in touch if any florists/floral clubs are intrested or maybe just treat yourself to a big bunch! It's beautiful in a vase on its own and perfect hung upside down in the bathroom for a soothing/calming shower. The heat & steam from the shower helps to release aromatherapy powers from the plant so if you are full of the cold it can help open up the airways in your nose and throat. It’s an all round pretty good plant!

Keeping on the cake theme how exquisite are these beautiful sugar dahlias..Made by Alison at A Bonnie Wee Cake over in Falkland, Fife. Alison made our own wedding cake and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a beautiful wedding cake!

Local wedding venue The Byre At Inchyra have just been awarded UK & Ireland's venue of the year for the second time in the DWHA - Destination Wedding&Honeymoon Awards and also named overall winner and worldwide venue of the year 2018! such amazing news for the team at Inchyra! they work so hard and deserve such great success!
Here are some photos captured by Photos By Zoe from my first wedding at Inchyra last September from Ross and Mike's big day! The brief was elaborate, fresh with a tropical twist! a slightly different style of wedding for me but a brilliant & fun one which I just loved! I'm looking forward to heading back to Inchyra in June.

Today certainly felt like spring was in the air! Well after the car was defrosted! I spent the afternoon at Cambo Country House and Estate at the snowdrops festival! It was beautiful to see in the sunshine. If your looking for something to do this weekend I would recommend it! There’s a cafe, shop, children’s activities/arts/crafts, plants for sale and the beach is just ten mins walk!

Thanks to Photos By Zoe for the valentines mention below this was a pretty amazing day! September is also a busy month for me, not only with weddings & flowers but it’s also harvest time on the farm! It’s all go!
Last September I had my biggest weddings to date! which certainly tested my floristry skills from floral arm pieces and large hanging canopies at Ross and Mikes wedding! to the biggest & wildest bouquet that needed 2 hands to hold it! With gail force winds causing havoc with my arrangements on top of glenfarg hill for Eilidh and Lloyd’s wedding. 2 incredibly different and wonderful weddings that I will always remember. I wonder what this September will bring...

What a blustery start to the new working week!🌬
The holidays have just flown by! I hope everyone has enjoyed a nice break and glad to be back to some normality again!? My week has started with a big tidy up!🗑although most of it has actually blown off round the farm! I can now see the floor in the shed👍🏻 but I wonder how long that will last🤨😄
