I love crafting and try my hand at many different things but right now I'm enjoying sewing sock toys - monkeys in particular because I love how each one develops it's own personality as I add the various features! I have CE tested the monkeys and am delighted that they passed the strict guidelines required by European standards and now are all CE certified.

Prices are as follows:
Small sock monkey (10 - 12 inches - £10
Medium sock monkey (12 - 14 inches) - £12
Large sock monkey (15 - 18 inches) - £15
Extra Large monkey (18 inches plus) - £16. 50

Until the day our sock toys learn to take the bus for themselves, we have to parcel them up for you and send them through the post. We try to keep their travel costs low but this is of course dependent on the postage options available.

Thanks to Royal Mail's drastic price rise, we have unfortunately been forced to re-evaluate our charges. Up until now, we have been charging £2. 50 (20p cheaper than the actual cost) to post our monkeys and other sock toys first class with Royal Mail. The steep changes to their service would see their cost shoot up to £5. 20 for second class delivery.

At Put a Sock in it, we think that is far too steep a change and consequently we are now using myHermes - a courier service that delivers monkey sized packages for £4. 20 here in the UK.

Again, we are going to discount this price a little and charge our customers £4 for up to 4 monkeys posted in 1 package. We're sad to have to raise our prices again, but we're glad to have found an alternative to the Royal Mail's new pricing system. If only our toy monkeys could fly!

NB As Royal Mail adjusted their prices for small parcels a single monkey can be sent first class for £3. 20 so I will now post singles charging customers only £3.
