Another oldie today! 📸 This time from the 1920s!
This is our previous main shop located in the Albert Buildings, Bo'ness (roughly where Lidl is now) On the left is Bertie Corvi (my great-grandfather) and on the right is his half brother Peter Cabrelli who came over from Italy to work in the family business and later went on to open his own shop Cabrelli's in Linlithgow!
Bertie himself came over from Italy a few years earlier to work in Antonio Ferrari's shop, he fell in love ...with Antonio's daughter Rosie and the rest is history!
You can't see them as clearly in this scan (the original is hanging in the shop) but the signs say we sell "All Kinds of Aerated Waters" and "Ice Cream Made by Electricity"! 😂❤️

What a lovely place, we got lost yesterday and found this special fish and chip shop, so glad we did. Excellent food, all cooked to order. So retro, love the bentwood chairs. Thanks too for the super friendly service.

Really good food and service was excellent.

My friend and myself had the small portion of fish and chips it was yummy and just enough for us . We will be back .

Ive been going to Corvi's since I was a wee girl. Went there last week for a fish supper and it was every bit as good (if not better) than I remembered!! Staff are absolutely lovely! Recommend this to anyone heading to bo'ness for a day out! Thanks guys!!!

I stay in Kirkcaldy but from boness and each time I visit. Boness, I av supper at Bert's( corvi,s). Best in Scotland

Had Eves birthday here fab wee place good food and lovely owner and staff

Guid fish supper! And haggis is to die for! ( all with chippy broon sauce)
