I always have my coffee here and never have had cause to complain however today there seems to be an issue with staff on arrival noone acknowledged me in the queue which was not moving girl on coffee machine was very very busy and stressed and other girl was making coolers the shop floor was very dirty untidy shelfs were untidy not stocked very little selection in sandwiches cake display was tired and empty batista maestro was on floor goung through boxes noone was serving or moving the queue was very stressed environment today nit relaxing took me 1o mins to reach the front of the queue still noone serving only girl on coffee machine the tables were all loaded with dirty dishes noone clearing tables
However I don't blame staff i blame costa head office on keeping budgets low on labour not allowing managers the budget to staff up on busy days I feel for the staff and completely understand this environment having worked in it fir 18 years as manager and know they are very hard on labour so staff overworked and stressed girl on coffee machine tool my order of flat white then second girl took my food order I had to clear my own table the BM brought my food just dropped it in front of me never spoke or even asked if it was mine she.was completely stressed you could clearly see this. This is normally a very relaxed and happy coffee shop today my complaint is about Head office and general managers cutting back on labour not allowing these poor girls to function properly give the normally great service they provide. Also no management on site today on a busy day like Friday afternoon?? Such a shame but thank you girls for great coffee and nice crumpets my sympathy goes to you all lack of management support here

Worst costa experience I've ever had ordered my usual lemon iced tea got it with no lemon syrup in it took it back up to ask for some syrup and got told they had none so they shouldn't have been serving a product and taking my money for it when they actually didn't have the correct ingredients for the product and the service I got for asking for some syrup wasn't the best and I will not be back at this costa.
