Costa Coffee

Not the cleanest and over cheery waitress insisted on trying to upsell me something. Would have asked if id wanted it. Find this incredibly annoying. Wont be back here in a rush.

Long queues and a noisy interior makes for a not very relaxing experience so dropped 2 stars. Clean and modern and the coffee was ok. Free Wi-Fi.

First coffee shop that offered me delicious cappuccino with frothered soya milk - highly recommended for any on laco free diet!

Service slow, hot chocolate is lovely

I go often staff very good and a lovely place to chill

Cosy quite atmosphere, very relaxed. Pricing a little high but acceptable for the comfort and great coffee.
Hygiene compliance.
Small improvement in hygiene.No mess behind the counter and the staff use disposable cloths to wipe down the appliance and surfaces. Hand washing remains rare.
Saw the manager washing ice pots with warm rinse, no detergent and replacing wet for use.
Still leaving tables uncleared and unwiped. Some customers having to move used trays, cups etc to access seating.
Some staff wearing gloves, cross contaminate by touch multiple items, surfaces etc without changing gloves.
Updated, no glove wearing today, perhaps a hand washing procedure has been implemented.
The coffee is great though and the staff friendly, perhaps learn to smile and value their customers.

An undercover investigation revealed that iced water obtained from high street outlets Caffè Nero, Starbucks and Costa Coffee all contained faecal coliform bacteria, with a positive test found for seven out of 10 samples from Costa and three out of 10 samples from the other two chains.

Decent coffee. Good location in the centre of town.

Well situated in the town. Lots of space with the option of sitting outside.

The guys produce the best coffee in double quick time! Perfect experience as always in this store! So much nicer and cleaner than the store in Springfield retail park.

Brilliant first class food indoor or you can takeaway which is awesome and the staff is soon friendly with everykve that are being served which is exxellant . the cafe is very clean indeed . staff can friendly quite akot when they want to haha haha X

Friendly, clean, well managed. Exactly what a Costa type coffee shop should be. Could be a little faster in making the coffees, but this is easily the best coffee shop of its type in Elgin.

Very friendly staff and service was of a high standard. Only negative point is when they are busy service can be very slow.
