Great quick service. Clean store. Fab coffee

The staff are first class however the place is inundated with flies which is totally off putting. Complained to their head office. Avoid until fly situation gets sorted.

I love Costa Coffee. I love going in and smelling the coffee.
But for such an expensive coffee shop shouldn't they be able to get good staff? I went in 2 weeks ago and got a panini and a hot chocolate and while i was ordering i noticed some other staff whispering to each other and laughing. They were also looking at me. Today i went in and i got the same and i never heard one of the staff memebers so i said "pardon" and they slowly said in a raised voice " DO YOU WANT CREAM WITH THAT" i was disgusted but i never mentioned it to the manager because i didn't want to cause any trouble.

I am in the Newton Mearns branch regularly and it depends on what staff are on that makes a huge difference to the experience!!! Today, 4 members of staff, including a manager and it took nearly 10min to get my cappuccino as they forgot my order, manager too busy talking with another member of her staff!!! Another member of staff spent most of my staying Costa talking to a friend at the counter!! The fact that I had to reorder my coffee as two customers received theirs before me and had came in well after I'd ordered!! You will see by my loyalty card that I frequent, on a regular basis, your other outlets and have never received this treatment!!!
