Very well stocked local grocer with fresh produce from nearby suppliers. A local institution.

Great little shop. We'd just walked from Dalbeattie on Monday (a lovely hot day), so to find this was mist welcome for an ice cream and drink pit stop. Had everything you would need and friendly staff :)

atypical village shop with a difference....recently changed hands and now gone up market. How many village shops sell "Edible flowers"? Forward thinking people, buying locally to give a great local offer. (Try the soup from the Galloway soup company, it travels about three miles from the farm its produced at to the shop shelf!) Always something new appears here every visit, one star to go, but still improving.......

Friendly service. Stocks everything you would need and even stuff you don't!

Fresh bread, local eggs, surprisingly​ wide range of food and other misc items, and lovely staff. Very handy to have this wee shop whilst on our holiday nearby.
