Estate agent with dirty practices. We had set up a (conformed) date to with the estate agents to go through the flat when checking out but the estate agent did not show up. They claimed the appointment wasn't confirmed (whereas we had email proof for this) and we should just slip the keys through the letterbox. Afterwards they tried to claim unreasonable amounts of money for normal wear and tear ( we had been living in the flat for almost three years) , which we disputed and after many emails back and forth they let go of many of the claims and we were too tired to fight the remaining ones. Also, we failed to terminate our standing order for the rental payments (I know, big mistake from our side) so we accidentally paid one month worth of rent after our move. They claimed they had in the meantime switched bank accounts and had not received the money (despite our bank telling us otherwise) so could not pay us back. The only reason we didn't pursue this issue further is because we moved overseas and we were tired of spending energy on something that was in the past. In short: AVOID this letting agent, they are a bunch of scammers and honest people should be protected from dealing with them.

'A year after purchasing a flat from a client of Coulters I'm reminded how bad they were. The agent told us the property had designated parking spot , when it turned out it had a communal parking area. And on purchasing the property we removed one of the "for sale" signs which conveniently was hiding a broken window mechanism, taped up with packing tape. The person viewing the flat on behalf of Coulter's client didn't seem to have a clue. There's a lot of reasonable estate agents, these are not one of them.

We had a really bad experience with this agency. We were transferred from our old agency to them in the middle of our tenancy, because our landlord was a friend of one of the agents in Coulters. It was the worst that could ever happened to us.

Expect lies, poor customer service and several problems to get your deposit back.

Without a doubt, the worst estate agents I've ever deal with. If you can avoid them, do it.

Hung up repeatedly on my partner as she tried to phone to re-book a missed viewing. Shocking way to treat somebody in such a competitive market. Avoid.

We engaged Coulters property for the sale of two properties and purchase of another in October 2016. The personal attention of Mark and his team made the whole experience effortless and gave us the confidence that everything was in capable hands throughout. This was evident in that both properties were at offer accepted in less than 2 weeks from initial live date achieveing over 10% above home report value. The purchase involved some out of the oridinary details but we were given excellent guidance and advice from Louise in their legal team.
Although the financial aspects were excellent, what set Coulters apart was the customer service provided by all involved. I plan not to move for some time although when that occasion arises in the future, Coulters will be my one and only call. Many thanks to Mark and the rest of your team.
