I have information that United Services in Mabel Street Motherwell are delivering lunches to people who are self isolating - phone 01698 276761 for delivery.

Can I make a plea to young people and parents in North Lanarkshire. Please can young people stay in and parents can you keep your youngsters in. It has been reported to me that hundreds of young people are congregating down Barons Haugh Nature Reserve for parties. This is not only endangering their health but endangering the health of everyone else with whom they come into contact. Please stay at home. Please stay 2 metres apart. It is crucial! Protect the health of everyone you love and know ❤️❤️🙏

My candle is in my window for the National Day of Prayer
For all that is good in life, thank you, For the love of family and friends, thank you, For the kindness of good neighbour and Samaritan stranger, thank you.
... May those who are vulnerable, hungry or homeless, experience support, May those who are sick, know healing, May those who are anxious or bereaved, sense comfort.
Bless and guide political leaders and decision-makers, with wisdom, Bless and guide health workers and key workers, with strength and well-being, Bless and guide each one of us, as we adapt to a new way of living.
And may the light shining from our windows, across road and wynd, glen and ben, kyle and isle, be reflected in our hearts and hands and hopes.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Geo and I walked along the beautiful Clyde walkway this afternoon and met two responsible girls clearing up after a party last night. Curriculum for Excellence teaches young people to be responsible citizens in reality. Well done Keep Scotland Beautiful. We also saw a heron, a bullfinch, a robin, numerous swans, blue tits, a coot - a treat üè¥ÛÝÅßÛÝÅ¢ÛÝÅ≥ÛÝÅ£ÛÝÅ¥ÛÝÅøüè¥ÛÝÅßÛÝÅ¢Û ÝÅ≥ÛÝÅ£ÛÝÅ¥ÛÝÅø

@Clare Adamson Julia Stachurska Honoured to be invited to Dungavel immigration Centre on International Woman‚Äôs Day to express our displeasure at this inhumane cruel facility. Shut it now and look after the residents. All they want is to live safely in Scotland and we are delighted to welcome them üè¥ÛÝÅßÛÝÅ¢ÛÝÅ≥ÛÝÅ£ÛÝÅ¥ÛÝÅøüè¥ÛÝÅßÛÝÅ¢Û ÝÅ≥ÛÝÅ£ÛÝÅ¥ÛÝÅø

Knowetop Primary School WorldBook Honoured to be invited in as a granny to read to P5 pupils. Reading is my passion. We discussed one of my favourite books ‘Chocolat’ by Joanne Harris. The youngsters gave very insightful answers - a credit to their school and teachers 📚 📚

How are 3600 P7 pupils now going to learn true resilience, independence and team building skills without the experience of Kilbowie. It needs to be kept open. Our youngsters need this experience!!

This is the way to combat mental health 160 boys and girls from P5 to seniors playing rugby and having ‘time to talk’ sessions when their team was off. This was awe inspiring. The 9 young leaders were asking questions about how you could start a conversation with someone who was quieter than usual. We had answers like ask them to go for a walk, arrange to meet in a cafe, go to the gym - say how are you, smile, listen, don’t talk too much yourself. What an example of good practice. Well done to Elaine Neilson and Dalziel Rugby club for setting up this amazing event.

My report for December and January ( sorry no photos but lap top playing up !)

Staff surely are the main resource in the council or are they??!

It’s a sad day now for two reasons an amazing residential facility (Kilbowie) is being shut to build houses and Scotland is being dragged out of Europe against our will 😥

What a treat üè¥ÛÝÅßÛÝÅ¢ÛÝÅ≥ÛÝÅ£ÛÝÅ¥ÛÝÅø The Dalziel High Annual Burns Supper was amazing especially my pal Basie Grieve singing üé§ part of the Immortal Memory in her 40th year at Dalziel - brilliant - in addition to recitations, the pipe band, a ceilidh band, soloists, excellent speeches - a true Scottish experience - thank you üè¥ÛÝÅßÛÝÅ¢ÛÝÅ≥ÛÝÅ£ÛÝÅ¥ÛÝÅøüè¥ÛÝÅßÛÝÅ¢Û ÝÅ≥ÛÝÅ£ÛÝÅ¥ÛÝÅø
