Couper'S Creek

About Couper'S Creek

Couper’s Creek is now closed. Thank you to all our customers for their support over the last 5 years.

Couper'S Creek Description

Couper's Creek is situated in the historic fishing village of Cromarty, on the tip of the peninsula known as the Black Isle. Within easy reach are the villages of Fortrose, Rosemarkie and Avoch and with Invernesss, Dingwall and Strathpeffer all within an easy drive, it's well worth a day out!

We can offer lunches, hot and cold drinks, ice-cream and gifts and many of the cakes are gluten free. Children will love the sundae's! (As will the adults! ) We can also offer gift vouchers.

Our sister company Sutor Creek is also situated in Cromarty and offers more substantial meals such as wood fired pizza and fresh local seafood.

The fire is on, the scones are baked fresh each day, the coffee is freshly ground and a warm welcome awaits. Couper's Creek offers the perfect place to catch up with friends - open daily 10-4pm.

We’ve had a wee refurbishment at Couper's Creek.. new flooring, repainted walls and created a bit more space for tables. We still have lots of wall art (including these fab Cow heads) but most of our gift selection can now be found at our new shop Calluna on Church Street, Cromarty!

What a lovely find this was! After a day spent walking around the coast we decided to visit Cromarty eight miles away to find something to eat. It was well worth the drive.Fabulous sandwiches and homemade soup and beautiful cakes. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We are only in the area for a week but we will definitely visit again before we leave.

What a great find on our day trip to the Black Isle today; and what a beautiful, friendly place Cromarty is!

Thoroughly enjoyed our cuppa and loved chatting to the staff, one young man even giving us a map and helping us plan our onward route.

We’ll definitely be back!

We paid a visit to Cromarty on the advice of a lady we had spoken to in Munlochy, she had mentioned there were some lovely little cafes. We came across Coupers Creek and we were very impressed with the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere and delicious home cooked food....the staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend a visit when exploring the Black Isle
