Far too many tables, staff under extreme pressure, which meant they were snapping at customers. Customers were being bullied to sit where the staff wanted them to sit rather than where they wanted to sit! Children are obviously not welcome all in all expensive for average food!
Lovely place. Normally busy on weekends. Can be a noise place as you are sitting close to the next table. Prices are nice with a good selection. Cakes are good when you can get one. I think they need to expand.
Very good service with fresh baked cakes and scones. Would certainly recommend afternoon tea.
Well presented simple food - BLT Club Sandwich tasty and filling - the Lighthouse is a perfect backdrop.
Nice food but a little cramped. You could call it cosy...
A wonderful little cafe, perfect for lunch or afternoon tea. The staff were helpful and friendly. The selection of food is surprisingly large, with a few specials of the day to choose from as well. The Kids High Tea is such a simple idea but the smile on the children's faces when it arrived was huge.
Add to this a huge selection of cakes, traybakes and scones to choose from and Aroma is unmissable if you're in the area and worth the drive if you're not.
