Cpd Strathclyde Description
We’re the Continuing Professional Development in Education society at the University of Strathclyde. This society is run by students across cohorts on four-year B. Ed (hons) and BA (hons) courses.
It is a cross-sector and career stage society for those curious about learning and teaching and the wider issues and context of education. It offers an open-space and opportunities to collaborate and discuss learning and teaching practices, approaches to personal and professional development, and wider educational issues with teachers at all stages, advisors, academics and all those involved in working with children and young people.
Really, we aim to offer opportunities for meaningful, contextualised, relevant and practical based professional development as well as opportunities for networking and collaboration across sectors.
But, the whole point of what we do is to get more teaching students involved with CPD, the society and the wider education community. So we’d love for you to join us!
