As a horse owner and lover I have decided to start offering my experience and knowledge with those who feel need it. I have a love and respect for horses and would love to further my knowledge and broaden my experience within the Equine industry whilst offering the help to those with problematic horses, horses needing that bit extra knowledge, needing a bit extra time spent with them or one to one tutoring to help improve the bond and communication between horse and owner. I have been working and riding horses for sixteen years and wish to gain experience in every sphere I possibly can. I have experience riding a large variety of horses from your typical riding school horse to show jumpers and racehorses. I have spent a lot of time producing several race horses and currently have a 5yo fresh off the track. Using ground work on a regular basis with several different horses has built up an understanding to the way horses think.

I have knowledge on nutrition and dietary needs to horses and practical skills in first aid to treat minor wounds and identifying ailments and pain response areas within the horse. I have studied in depth the works /systems of the horse and pulled together several portfolios and reports about the skeletal system, muscular system etc and have gained high grades in these qualifications. I carry out yard duties on a daily basis for my own horse as well as other people’s. Working on several different yards has given me the opportunity to gain practical and theoretical skills from all points of view.

I offer a thorough care plan tailored to each and every horses needs and always encourage the horse to be light to the hand and the leg. I aim to return the foundations of training to the horse and not look for a ‘quick fix’ when starting a new project.

I offer in depth confidence giving tuition to the rider hoping that they will build a strong trusting relationship with me, thus brushing off on their horses confidence and resulting in a happy relationship for both horse and rider.
