Hi, I am Mandy, welcome to my studio page, I studied classical art painting and silk painting in Yunnan Art University and had my studio in Yunnan and Hong Kong since 2008 for display and sell to art collectors. Making crafts is my hobby since I was in primary school I like to play with different material and create crafts in use.... My dad provided me with great support for my studying and he also gives me a lot of freedom to choose and find out what I wanted. So, my high school life was in a couple of private schools in Beijing, it is over 3000 miles away from home. Because of the curiosity and fearless in my personality, I couldn't stop discovering new adventures and it took me across the sea to Fiji Islands, Australia, Canada, France for my studies during 1996 to 2006. After 10 years of overseas Life, I went back to China continued studying in art and worked for my dad's company as a few different positions started by doing the secretary, administration manager, seller, buyer and graphic designer. then, I left his company starting my own business. I rent an office used as a studio I had done most of drawing and painting experience in that period. in 2012 I rented a bigger place running a cafe with a gallery on the second floor. 2014 I moved to Scotland and registered Miu Art Studio in the UK, I am excited to start a new journey to discover Scotland. I plan to bring an international exhibition back to Hong Kong with 500 silk paintings of the local subjects, I am focusing on U.K motifs and always seeking for the new subjects which matter to the local people as I hope each of the paintings is able to tell a story to the audience.

We were so delighted that Gillian and Charlie wanted to stock our items in their lovely shop! They run a great wee store filled with an array of handmade gifts, there is something for everyone. They are a lovely couple and very helpful we are pleased to be part of Crafted in Moray

Really good selection at all budgets. Well worth a visit. Something for almost everyone.

Popped into Crafted to get a Mother's Day gift. We will be back during the week to buy a birthday present, a golden anniversary present and something for the house once the decorating has been done. Unique ideas and very reasonable prices.

An amazing little shop with great customer service. I went in looking for a retirement present and couldn't really see anything but the owner told me if I bought a glass she would paint it there and then for me. Wasn't quite ready when I went to pick it up so she stayed late and dropped it at my house....where else would you get that customer service. I will be using crafted again

They have absolutely any gift, for any occasion, on sale.

We had some of the most beautiful wedding bouquets made from sheet music flowers, felt flowers and scrabble pieces. I was hoping to share a photo, but seems I can't.

Was a little mix up with date of wedding, but to make up for any worry she made me matching buttonholes for the grooms party free of charge.

Overall very happy. Very talented lady.

Wandering around Elgin on Saturday we stumbled across Crafted and intrigued by the window display went in.



It Is generally a pleasure to go in to independent shops due to the more original and selective items on display and Crafted did not disappoint.



Fantastic range of quality wooden item ranging from writing pens to table top drawer sets. There was also a whole raft of ornaments, tartan hats and collectibles.



We ended up making various purchases as we we were impressed both with the quality and competitive pricing combined with background information supplied by Louise the very welcoming shop owner.
