Another mad busy week in our distillery. Here we see our Crafty buggers cleaning out the fermenters, stripping the wash and finishing off a gin run. Going the rare extra mile to craft a unique spirit to add to every batch of our #hillsandharbourgin begins by us taking local wheat grain, which we mill by hand on site. The milled grain is mashed, fermented and distilled to deliver a smooth and unique base for us to distill again with our carefully selected blend of 11 botanicals. After a wee bit of time off, we’re looking forward to starting Hills & Harbour production again. We’ll also be re-opening the distillery and our Tree Bar & Cafe to the public on Tuesday the 15th of January. Our new winter opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-5:30pm, and tours are still running at 12noon and 3pm daily. Give us a call if you’d like to book.

We went to Crafty for a birthday treat. The food was delicious, great relaxed atmosphere, yummy coffee and superb cocktails! What’s not to love? We shall be back.

We had a good afternoon out at Crafty Distillery. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Andy, the tour guide was very knowledgeable but kept it to a level we could understand. And of course the gin was really good too �



It is also child & dog friendly.

Visited the distillery with my friends had a great tour from a very pleasant (looking)guy , enjoyed our tipple so much that half of our part bought a bottle , needless to say I’ve finished mine , gave a measure to my brother in law he loves it , will be purchasing an other very soon xx highly recommended ���

Tour was great with a very pleasant guy giving great detail of the whole process and history of how it all started and got to this unique gin. Full gin and tonic given at the end very tasty. Opening up in July for food and drinks � well worth a visit we will definitely be going for lunch and drinks then. �

Sent the hubby to pour me a gin. There's quite a few to choose from but I knew EXACTLY what I had - its unique flavour is so distinctive in a crowded market, I can't recommend it highly enough. Please start commercially producing the cordials - I'd really appreciate some strawberry and mint right now ��

Had lunch here yesterday. What a great idea. You choose three items of local produce from the fridge and you get lovely fresh bread to go with it. We had McLellans pate, smoked brie from Marbury and pork loaf slice from Owens the butcher served on wooden platters. We didn't do the gin tasting leaving that for another day. Well done guys you have an excellent set up there.

Fantastic tour and gin tasing - a lot of effort went into the explanation of the gin distillation process and the different botanicals they are used. Beautiful surroundings and staff very attentive and friendly! Worth a visit!

Did the distillery tour as a post-40th birthday celebration with a couple of friends. Graham was a great host and the gin + gin cocktails were amazing. Not only does the gin taste great, the bottle is also so pretty - like sea glass - and I have made mine into a light to remind me of a lovely Galloway weekend.
