My charity event is taking shape! Thank you to everyone who has contacted me so far offering their services, hopefully i should be able to contact you with a confirmed date in the next few days. There is still time to put your band forward - i'm looking for 5 top class bands (original or covers/tribute) from the Chesterfield area, to play a 45 minute set at Real Time Live next year, probably on a Saturday night in August, who are prepared to perform for free (as it's for char...ity), as well as bringing in a good crowd & helping with promotion. Back line & sound engineer already sorted, so just usual front line equipment needed. Also, looking for sponsors for the event, who are prepared to chip in towards costs in exchange for having your company/business name on the tickets, posters, flyers & social media advertisements etc. I am also looking for support from local Chesterfield based radio, newspapers & magazines - so if you have a slot on a local radio station, or write for a local newspaper/magazine, please get in touch so i can give you all the info as it gets confirmed. Also, any individuals who are prepared to help in any way, please feel free to contact me as well - all help appreciated. All money raised will be split between Cancer research UK & Macmillan.
