Great out of town deli and cafe with play area for children. Narrow approach road, but well worth a little effort. Wheelchair access excellent.

Great for kids. They have a lot of live animals like pigs (with piglets), chicken. You can get a basket and go to the fields and pick your own strawberries. When we have been there they also had pumpkins on the field (it was week before Halloween).

Beautiful place with a superb deli selling lots of fresh produce and a great cafe with a wonderful view. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Recommended.

A large farm shop and cafe with a great selection of meat, cheese, fruit and veg. The cafe is spacious and welcoming and does amazing cakes. It loses a star for the coffee, which could have been better.

Friendly staff and helped when I had my hands full with kids, nice play area for kids outside while parents drink coffee inside. Fruit picking is too expensive so perhaps only if you really want it. Cycle racks are useful and quite easy to cycle there from Edinburgh. It can be very busy sometimes so perhaps arrive before meal times to guarantee a seat.

Super fun and a first at the age of 76. I wish I could do this in South Africa! Was very disciplined whilst picking and only had 8 raspberries 1 strawberry and 2 cherries. Would have earned 5 stars if there was somewhere to sit in between the rows.

This place was a favourite to take the kids fruit picking and to enjoy some time enjoying the views from the cafe whilst the kids played in the play area (the tractor was a perpetual favourite). I have not been for a few years and the place has changed. The shop and restaurant have expanded. My first impression was of a significant loss of intimacy. It feels much more of a high throughput commercial operation now. Much busier and noisier. The views are still great.

Good points are: helpful and polite staff. Interesting products and more than adequate food in the café. Plenty room in café and lots of parking. Also fun being able to go see the animals like hens, ponies and pigs.
Bad points are: awful single track access road with blind bends where pensioners come barreling down on the way out. The prices of most of the products are very high.

Went there for lunch had a Christmas dinner panini was very nice. Really like the new space they have built. lots more seating at nice solid wood tables

We visit craigie every fortnight as buy all meat from them. Absolutely the best quality and the service from Rab is second to none. Our Christmas order will be getting placed next week. All staff are very helpful and welcoming. If you looking for a special gift or something special to cook then look no further. Could not recommend Craigie enough.

The best french toast in town! Not cheap but the breakfast is awesome. Great for kids and visiting some animals. You can also do strawberry picking while watching planes landing. Their deli is excellent. If you are looking for organic veg and meat, this is the place.
