Some of the caravans moved over the past couple of weeks..

We have now sited our wheelchair accessible caravan for hire and just have a few finishing touches to add - a decking with ramp being the main one!

We're advertising with the 'Best of British' for the first time. One of the good things about this site is that you cna get quite a number of good photos of the park in plus some local ones ....see for yourself

Staff day out at the Perthshire Off Road Driving Centre, Glenfarg

It may be quieter onsite with less people around but the wardens have their work cut out with moving caravans. A few have left with only 2 more yet to be removed from their pitches. We have sited 2 and moved 2 into touring from hire to hold until their pitches are ready. We also have 8 more to be delivered so it will be a hectic next 3 weeks or so before we start shutting down for the Festive break!

The electricity has just come back on having been off for approximately 2 and a half hours.

User

A quick k note to say that we currently have a power cut onsite and the power supply has been off for an hour and a half or so. There is no fault on the park as SSE have confirmed the fault is at their end. We have been advised it should be back on in another hour or so.

The park is now closed for Touring and hire and will re-open on 15th March 2019 for both. Our prices for the 2019 season are now available by calling us on 01334 475959 and will appear online over the next day or 2.

After leaving the park, went down to the Old Course/West Sands and took these of the moon over the sea at the same time as the sun setting behind St Andrews.

Really spectacular sky over Craigtoun Meadows this evening.....

A nice sunny, warm autumnal day...........

User

Was in the woodland area behind Rosshill on Saturday and saw this...…..busy spiders!

With gusts of winds being recorded over 102mph yesterday at the Tay Bridge, you can probably work it out it was pretty breezy on the Park yesterday.
While we had some branches down, we're pleased to report that there was no damage to any caravans that we can see.
Three Tourers had issues with their awnings but we have weighted them down and contacted the owners concerned.
... Although it is still quite windy today we have a tree surgeon onsite taking down a tree that was moving a bit more than we would like and taking care of some branches caught up in the trees.

Just back from the Lawns Caravan Show in Hull last week and we're delighted to announce that we'll be hiring out a wheelchair accessible caravan from the start of the 2019 season.
The model in question will be a 2019 Willerby Richmond with 2 bedrooms, wide passageways, lowered kitchen surfaces and a wet room among other features.
Further details wills appear once we have the Holiday Home on site. Here are some images from the Willerby website.

It's that time of year again when Scotland's oldest medieval street fair returns to St Andrews. With it's continental market, funfair rides and market stalls it's very popular with young and old alike.
We do still have some limited availability if you are looking for last minute weekend accommodation.

Another lovely sunny morning at Craigtoun Meadows!

User

We have visited Craigtoun Meadows a few times now in our touring caravan and the high standard of this park is second to none. I would highly recommend a stay here and if you have young children you can't go wrong as the park is an excellent place to let them play in a safe and friendly environment.

We have now used the little village wooden houses for 2 weeks in July and just about to book again for August . My 4 year old loved it he was close to the beach and Harbour. He made great friends on the site. Staff are very friendly to and is the best kept site I have seen.

User

We have a very large touring caravan, and have never been on a site where each pitch is as large and private. Paid slightly extra for a pitch with a small shed which includes a table chairs and patio. Site is perfect quiet and just amazing for young families 5 star

User

Stayed last... Warden was very friendly and welcoming... lovely site. We pitched our tent and there was plenty of space with parking aside. The facilities aee 1st class, shower cubicles are spacious and the shower was amazing good pressure and hot. My partner had a bath which we thought was an added bonus. Toilets were spacious and very clean well worth its 5 stars. Will defo use again. Thank you Craigtoun

Stayed Thursday to Sunday on a touring pitch. The facilities are fantastic with clean toilets and plenty of showers with hot, hot water!! The pitch was spacious with EHU and water. the site is well maintained, with neatly cared for grass and hedges. The roads feel a wee bit narrow, but no problem with care. The walk into town is pleasant, with a woodland path from the edge of town to the old walls. Taxi fare back was £7.

User

Spent my childhood here with my grandparents and siblings, some things have changed around the park but brought my niece and nephew up for their first holiday up here and they don't want to go home. Has been amazing 🙂

User

Outstanding touring pitches and site. Facilities are among the best we've ever stayed at. Immaculately clean and the showers are outstanding!! Thoroughly recommend this site to anyone visiting the St Andrews area.

User

Just back from a long weekend at Craigtoun Meadows Caravan Park. .what a fantastic time we had. Very relaxing. We stayed in Pine 3 bedroom/2 bathrooms caravan which had a very spacious living dining area and was immaculate throughout. Every single thing was spotlessly clean. The site is beautifully maintained and there is a lovely play area for the kids to play..zip slide..football etc. There is a snack bar/restaurant on site which has a fabulous and reasonable menu ...and you can enjoy a beer or glass of wine too. Staff are very friendly. There is a bus stop just opposite the entrance to take you into St Andrews. ..every 2 hours or It's about a half an hours walk downhill into town. Highly recommend Craigtoun Meadows. .can't wait to return.

Fantastic site but my autistic son left his new Nintendo in the caravan and the cleaners have not seem to hand it in. He is devastated. He never let it out of his sight and never took it outside!

Best kept site I have been on, this is especially true when you consider prices because it certainly was not the most expensive in fact the prices were average
