The Monday Café @ Cramond Kirk is open to people with dementia & their carers. The next meeting of the Café is on Monday, 3 June in the Kirk Hall from 1 pm – 3 pm. Since the café takes place over lunchtime, they offer a light lunch, tea & coffee. Come along for support, information, lunch, tea & a blether. ☕

Cramond Community Choir Summer Concert 🎶
Cramond & Surrounding Area Community Choir will be performing their end of year concert in the Kirk Hall on Monday, 3 & Tuesday, 4 June at 7.30 pm. Tickets cost £7.50 & are available from the Kirk Office weekday mornings or from Ian Huggan at ianhuggan@blueyonder.co.uk. Proceeds from the concert will go to the Almond Mains Initiative, a local charity providing day care for older people. All are welcome.

Outgrown Girlguiding Uniforms Girlguiding Edinburgh has started a bank to provide Rainbow, Brownie & Guide uniforms to families across Edinburgh experiencing financial hardship. Uniforms in good condition can be handed in to 33 Melville Street, EH3 7AF, 9am - 2pm Mon to Thurs.

A "Summer Blooms" Afternoon Tea is being held in the Kirk Hall tomorrow afternoon (Monday) from 2 pm – 3.30 pm & we hope you can join us there. Please make a note in your diary & don’t miss all the lovely home baking & a chance to chat over a cuppa.

The Cramond Association meets in the Kirk Hall at 7.30pm on Monday, 29 April when Ian Anderson of Corstorphine Trust will give a talk on “The Corstorphine Cinema & its Organ”. All are welcome.

Come along to breakfast in the hall after the early morning service on a Sunday. Enjoy croissants, rolls, toast, juice and tea or coffee plus a friendly atmosphere. You will be very welcome.
This coming Sunday (Easter Sunday) we'll be serving up bacon rolls after both the Easter Dawn service and Morning Prayers.

The Cramond Kirk Visiting Team Easter Service
Along with members of the Almond Mains Club, the Cramond Kirk Visiting Team is holding an Easter service in the Kirk Hall followed by afternoon tea on Wednesday, 17 April starting at 2.30 pm. If you or anyone you know would like to come along & in particular anyone who may be unable to attend a Sunday morning service, you would be very welcome.

The Cramond Walkers Saturday, 13 April : Kinnoull Hill & Deuchny Wood (9 km/5.5 miles) grade - moderate. From the Jubilee Car Park 2 km east of Perth the route makes a figure of eight. One loop is through the deciduous woods of Kinnoull Hill & the other is a pleasant stroll through the coniferous Deuchny Wood & there’ll be a coffee stop at the Brig End farm shop near Bridge of Earn. Meet : Barnton Avenue West at 9 am or Kinnoull Jubilee car park at 10 am.

The Cramond Association History Section meets on Wednesday, 10 April at 7.30 pm in the Kirk Hall with their guest speaker Geoff Bailey who will be looking at Roman Forts on the Antonine Wall. All are welcome - £1 entry fee for non-members.

Reverend Stanley Okeke Next Sunday we look forward to welcoming Revd Stanley Okeke from the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria. Stanley will be spending 12 months at Cramond on a familiarisation placement as he transfers into the Church of Scotland. If anyone is able to offer Stanley hospitality, please contact the Kirk Office on 336 2036.
