Creative Beings Drama Description
Come and have FUN through lots of different drama activities and specially devised games. Make wonderful new friends! Use drama to build confidence, express yourself, explore ideas and discover a whole new world of creativity!
Each workshop or workshop block is different, exploring new themes and ideas. These workshops have been devised with particular age groups in mind, and are perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike.
We delve into improvisation, character work, devising short performances, developing acting skills, physical theatre, voice and a whole heap of other drama techniques.
Every workshop is set up as a safe and creative space where participants are allowed to create and express themselves freely. Sometimes participants may explore deeper cathartic ideas, while others just want to have fun and play.
Further your skills as a actor, or just come along and enjoy being imaginative with other like minded people!

🎭👯♀️What will we be up to?..... .... We'll warm up our creative selves with drama games that give us the option to reach deeper levels, explore our emotions, free ourselves from our societal restraints and allow the theatrical artistic side in! Then through devised theatre techniques and improvisation, we...’ll start creating characters – we’ll spend a lot of time on this to explore their multi layered personalities, back stories and relationships with other characters around us. We’ll use our imaginations and emotion to find those pivotal points in their histories that changed them for worse or for better. And we can make this as intense or as fun as we like, as you know - anything goes in improv! Through developing and playing with our characters, and gaining a versatile multifaceted understanding of them, we will as a group, launch into a full narrative improv production without stopping. We will by this point have the tools and knowledge to bring about and create something truly extraordinary together!
