The Milngavie store are always helpful and obviously knowledgeable and caring about the animals.
They have been very supportive of Milngavie Development Trust's efforts to raise money for a new swan island in the village.
You are one in a million!!
Thanks to Andy groomer at Creature Comforts Barney has never looked so good. ๏ฟฝ see you in a couple of months. ๏ฟฝ
Thank you Clarkston staff. I lost my wee Senegal parrot and as so sad, the staff then found me a lovely natured green check conur. He is so tame. Clarkston staff Graeme, Robert and lovely young girl thank you so much. X
Staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked for advice on what I could get to better the life of my snake. The shop was clean and if they didn't have what I was looking for they would try to order it in for me. Thank you for your help, I'll be back soon for sure ๏ฟฝ
I took my pug puppy in to the shop for the first time yesterday. She wandered around quite happily. She ended up with a very smart tartan coat and lead. She's very proud of herself. I got tips too about getting her to walk on the lead. She does it for other people, just not for me! She knows I'm the one who's daft to pick her up when she puts the brakes on! I tried again today and she walked with me. I'll definitely be going back for anything I need. Great to have an independent shop locally.
I love creature comforts all staff so nice and knowledgeable, animals are very well cared for and is a lovely shop also x
I have nothing but praise for Graeme and the staff at the Burnside store. Iโve phoned a couple of times and said โIโm running low on...โ and the item has been delivered within a couple of hours, fantastic customer service. Graeme also found my youngest rabbit for me after Iโd been searching unsuccessfully for a couple of months for the perfect buck. Top marks!

Great staff, great choice all round, 5 star
Great pet shop in Burnside the girls have been super helpful since we got our pup 2 weeks ago. Great advice from them. Also a delight to meet Scruff the parrot.
Fantastic little shop in Burnside! They have always been so helpful, the girl even ordered me the right size of food without me asking so it was there the next time I went in. It's these little touches that make it my choice of pet shop. Forget the large stores, you'll never get the service & personal touch...shop the independents on our High Streets & keep them there! Thank you! x

Customer......Alison Dunlop
Brilliant shop so lovely .... Brodie loves his new bed !
As a long time customer of Creature Comforts, I can't recommend them enough. I have used them for years shopping for not only my pets but for friends too. They always have what you need and if you can't find it the staff are very helpful and do everything they can to meet your needs.
Go here for smaller needs. Got a nano tank that leaked, that sucks.. but having a chat to the owner on the phone who has agreed to replace it even after my modifications shows good customer service! While I intend to move out the area in a year I'll still pop in here for my smaller supplies & also take in some nano fish there too. My only one complaint on the shop is selling Chinese algae eaters labelled as Siamese algae eaters which in later years will result in the death of a lot of fish across he area when it matures.
Aside from that no real complaints ๏ฟฝ
I bought hamster on 17th September and was 6 weeks old but died yesterday not even 4 weeks we had her. We have had hamsters for over 15 years and first time bought from this shop and have never had 1 die straight away, phoned shop and asked if any realeted problems told no and just your luck like lottery with animals . Was told to come down and would negotiate for another 1 . Will not do this as far as I'm concerned problem with source. This was Burnside shop
3 dead fish in 3 different fish tanks, could have been more but didn't want to look or highlight to my young children. When notifying member of staff, who didnt seem bothered, he failed to remove the fish and clearly had no intention to when we left. After noticing we were the only people in the shop, it became obvious why. We went elsewhere to purchase our fish. Disappointing and such a shame
Wow. You took the time to reply to my post regarding the concerning living conditions of the rabbits sold within your store, then proceeded to delete my post entirely? Pretty disappointing. I hadn't had the chance to properly read your reply yesterday before you deleted it today, but I recall you mentioned that you were in the process of reviewing your set up. I'm glad to hear that, but I have no idea how you are going to be able to meet a reasonable standard with the space available in your store; the RWAF guidelines recommend a minimum set up of 10ft x 6ft overall space with a run height of 3ft (or if you prefer metric, 3m x 2m with a height of 1m). In your case, this would be per solo rabbit. I believe you mentioned selling suitable rabbit housing in store, but I'm not aware of any Ferplast cage in existence that meets these requirements. Likewise, although I'm glad that you agree that your current set up is not suitable, I can't help but wonder why you chose to continue to sell rabbits in these conditions after recognising the fact?
Anyway, it's a shame that I cannot respond to your reply but I have copied my original message below in case any of your future visitors would like to compare back to the May 2017 set up of your Milngavie store. I understand reviews are a little harder to dispose of.

Hi,
I was so upset to see these two rabbits in your Milngavie store earlier this month and I have struggled to get them off my mind since. It is the first (and likely last) time I have ever visited; I dread to think how many rabbits have been through these conditions over the years. There are so, so many things wrong here.
Wrong bedding, wrong type of accommodation, no source of fresh hay, solitary rabbits. You are setting these animals up for dental disease/gut problems in later life, if not already.
Other than failing to take care of their most basic needs, they also have no entertainment and nowhere to hide. The size and condition of their "cages" is shameful and sends an irresponsible message to anyone visiting your store.
It is worrying to see this from a pet retailer. I disagree with the sale of rabbits full stop but at least the likes of Pets at Home are catching on to the importance of rabbit welfare. Please, set a good example for potential adopters, and offer your animals an exemplary life while in your care.
Can I suggest you read up on rabbit welfare on the RWAF website and re-consider your set up, bearing in mind your responsibility as a "dedicated and experienced" pet retail business?
