Very well run hotel. Exceptional staff. All very friendly. Particularly suitable for young to teenage families - lots of activities. Good food in the various restaurants . Lovely grounds. Would recommend.

This is a great hotel, very child friendly (but loads for the adults) and welcoming staff. Loads of activities, such as cycling, riding and golfing, or you can just splash in the pool (baby pool and jacuzzi included) for a couple of hours.

With plenty of hiking or flat walks taking you through pretty woods to lovely views in only a short while, it has the Highlands on its doorstep but everything in easy reach. Breakfast is good - avoid the 8:30-9:30 rush if you can - and even the fancy restaurant isn't starchy - you can wear jeans and polo shirt if you want, or dress up for the occasion.

Tips: Book ahead for activities like pony trekking or a Saturday dinner. Try the lawn bowls. The pool is basically empty at dinner time (6pm to 8pm). Walk up to the top of the Knock for lovely views from Perth to the Highlands.

Great family break, for half term - fantastic countryside and very helpful staff. Rooms a little tired but facilities made up for it. Perfect base to explore Perthshire.

Excellent weekend break. Daughter loved the swimming pool, soft play and the bouncy castle. Food and service and the brasserie was spot on. Lunch in the winter garden was relaxed.

My girlfriend and I took a long weekend trip to the Crieff Hydro for a little break away / fun.
The hotel was fantastic, the food was good and the activities were great. The only flaw was a problem with the electronics in the bedroom that couldn't be fixed (which wasn't a big deal, it was the attitude of the guy sent to fix it we weren't a fan of). The hotel gifted us use of their luxury spa / pool in compensation. We'll be going back in a couple of months.

Nice place to stay - rooms have recently undergone a refurbishment. 2 Restaurants on offer - one a bistro style and one a bit more upmarket. Both service excellent good. Has a mini cinema on-site and an activity centre where you can go quad biking, off-roading and do archery etc. The Victorian Spa is well worth the additional cost for the day - very relaxing and no children allowed if you like a quieter day. There is a larger pool for the kids if you want to do that however

Attended for a hen do. Had lots of fun playing bubble football, although they didn't provide enough bubbles despite knowing the number in the booking. Then archery which was great fun and the 2 instructors were very knowledgeable. Had a lovely meal at the restaurant after, very quick service and very attentive.

Great experience. Lots and lots to do especially for families. Room was OK. Shower head needed replacing badly and hot water is not consistent at times. Bed was spring and soft. Views were breath taking. Food great. The Italian Piccolo was not the best pizza or Pasta but the Brassiere is highly recommended!!!! Price wise on the high side.. Wait for deals for a bargain if you can. If you can afford it, then go for it as it is still very worth it!!!

Fantastic place. The self-catering lodges are really nicely and thoughtfully fitted out, and feel very peaceful with all the trees around. There's lots for the kids to do, and the free childcare is fantastic - my girl loved the creche facility so much she asked to go back in it! A truly lovely place.
