was subjected to a surprise birthday party here last night to celebrate my 40th birthday. from start to finish it was amazing. the staff were fantastic, never leaving us without a drink or making sure everything was ok. the way they handled the mini zoo of children we brought with us was also amazing. the special set menu for me was also superb & the wee personal touch at the top was truly spectacular. the food on offer was top notch and it was empty plates all round. thank you all once again for making my birthday extra special.

We were lucky to be guests of a member of our family at a birthday celebration in The Croft Bar. A warm welcoming friendly / family atmosphere. I would just like to say thank you for a lovely meal, quality and quantity went hand in hand, the friendly waiting staff and handsome bar staff gave great service. Considering there was 12 of us, all our meals came out well presented, delicious and piping hot, served by staff with great patience and a friendly manner.

Was down at the croft yesterday with my daughter, the steak pie is amazing, best ive ever had. Looking forward to coming back on 15th December for my works Christmas night out, definitely having the steak pie again.

Had a wonderful meal with my beautiful friends for my birthday. The staff are amazing and so attentive. They make you feel at home. Food amazing as always....abso stuffed!!! Got embarrassed as the staff brought a cake over � we had a piece each and sent the rest for the wonderful croft staff to share. I hope you all got a piece. We all went into the bar and its great being able to get a seat in such a busy place!! Had a great night and sampled the cocktails!!! So delicious. Tutti Frutti is lush � it's great to be in a local pub and have a great welcome from all the staff.

Scott and his team on Easter Sunday had it working like clockwork. Best pub ever! Thats my 6th year celebrating my birthday �

Had a lovely meal with my family and friends, the staff were very friendly and looked after us. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were great, think it's the first time I couldn't clear my plate. Definitely recommend it and I'll be recommending to my friends. Return meal is definitely on the cards.

Great hidden wee restaurant that never gets enough credit, always guaranteed a fantastic service and the food is amazing, my favourite restaurant to eat at and I definitely recommend to eat here if you want a great dinner. ��

First time we'd been in even though we live 2 minutes away. We were found seats although it was expected to be busy with bookings due in, nice atmosphere, friendly staff (didn't catch the waitress' name). Food was excellent. I had pork belly stew and a steak for my main, my gf had lentil soup and a burger (which she didn't finish but she said it was lovely), my son had a burger too (he had been before and was him who recommended to go). Will return 100%

Been several times for the fantastic food.. Great Menu & the Staff are excellent.. Last night was our first time in the bar and we had a great night watching football & then the karaoke.. We will defo be back..

Been a few times now and never been disappointed with the food or the service! Finally tried the steak pie I've heard so much about, and it definitely lived up to it's reputation. The meat just melted in your mouth, it was absolutely amazing �
