Hello everyone. A reminder to all that the Crunchy Carrot is having a meeting on Tuesday 24th July at 7pm at the Bleachingfield Community Centre. When we decide to retire from the Crunchy we would like to explore the idea of becoming a community owned shop and this meeting is to let you know more about this idea and to receive your ideas and thoughts too. We will also have some feedback on the questionnaire we recently made available. There will be cake! Hope to see you there. X

Just a wee message to everyone to reiterate our policy to replace or give money back for anything you are unhappy with. At this time of year, especially, with lots if rasps and strawbs around, we don't want you to be disappointed.

Hi there Crunchers just a wee reminder that we are interested in your wonderful growings be it from your allotment or your garden. We will buy or swap other fruit and veggies for your surplus produce. So grow more and don't waste the fruits of your efforts. English asparagus, Jersey Royals Spring it has sprungeth and more tastey growings are on the way!!

I was just thinking we've had up to 9 different varieties of tatty in the shop all grown in East Lothian. All hail the tatty growers of the East!! Did you know that in the Crunchy Carrot you can buy as little or as much as you like of many things we sell from a little touch of paprika to a 15 kilo sack of porridge oats. Saves money and packaging. Ooh we'll even halve a grape!!xx

We will be closing earlier today. Our market delivery did not make it through due to the snow and road conditions, hence we are very low on supplies. We hope the delivery gets through tomorrow, but we’ll open in the morning as usual anyway!

Christmas greetings...the Crunchy will be open on Sunday 24th from 10am til 3pm for your last minute shopping needs... Christmas hugs will be totally free to those in need. Xx

Ho ho ho Crunchyites you will be glad that most of your traditional Christmas veg is grown locally. Sprouts, leeks, neeps, carrots, cabbage, 8 varieties of tatty, parsnips and even celeriac are grown within 10 miles of the shop. Good eh?

Have no fear, have no doubt, down at the crunchy we have lots of sprouts! X

brilliant little shop. with next to the obvious vegetables also a awesome large range of vegan products, always friendly and helpful will even order certain products in if you are looking for something they normally don't have. really glad to have this shop as would be pretty limited in my choices without them.

We are so lucky to have the Crunchy Carrot in Dunbar. Not only do they sell most of the things I want to eat, they make it easy to do our bit for the planet by selling a great range of local sourced food and eco friendly products and encouraging customers to bring in their own refillable containers. As if that wasn't enough the welcome is always warm and the banter is great!

Top quality produce, great service, my chef husband raves about it and he's notoriously hard to please! A hidden gem that locals love, which says it all for me.

The samosas are divine �� Have one at least once a week as I am on a diet but they are ssssoooooo tasty I have to give in

The Crunchy is a pillar of our community. Always ready to take on new ideas, providing high quality local and organic produce. The delivery service is also excellent. I highly recommend them.

Fab local shop that pretty much have everything you could possibly need. Their spices are so fresh and you can buy anything from 2 tbsps to enough to refill you're jars. Fab service, friendly owners. Love this shop x
