Attended my niece's wedding here. It was a fantastic day, lovely place, gorgeous location. The food was delicious and everything went smoothly.

Very nice place for a venue food excellent staff very nice and will go out of there way to be of assistance only one thing that the lodges could do with a bit of maintenance otherwise excellent and manager very good announcer at my sons wedding venue held there

Regarding Clara B review - this was taken down from TripAdvisor because it is untrue. Yes money was taken by mistake by our accounts system, but replaced within hours and an email sent to this client PRIOR to her writing the review!
As to her other points again not true - we do not have a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast so she could not have been offered this. My duty manager tried to offer her a compromise after she had spent £102 on dinner, but was not acceptable to them. A rate that was £10 more than her B&B rate. In the morning they again refused to pay their debts and were causing a scene In front of my other guests waiting to pay their full amounts due, I let them go with an unpaid dinner bill.

It seemed more like a manor house than a castle, but the food was excellent, the location was picturesque, and the staff were fantastic! Definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Had been before for a Halloween party just want for a flying visit again had tea and the left such pretty place great surrounding to love it.

We were at the castle for a wedding reception. It was a lovely venue, the room was very nice. The L shaped layout did mean you couldn't see the dancefloor from the seating area.

The building and grounds were a great location for photos

5 stars my wife was a bridesmaid at a wedding here and she loved it as did the rest of the wedding party and guests. Though i thought they could bring the prices down at the bar 🙂.
