What an amazing stay my husband and I had for our 10th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The staff are amazingly views, area and food brilliant. If you want a couple nights away for just some me time and luxury this is the place. We will be back (might have to bring the little one next time which is no problem as loads for kids to see and do).

User

Went today for a visit with my kids and mother in law it was fantastic the kids loved it we will definitely be back.

User

We went to the Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday (01.04.18) and it was brilliant! Place was buzzing with lits of families having fun. The best part though, was when we were heading back after lots of fun in the adventure park, my autistic son was struggling in the queue for the trailer ride back. His anxiety was taking hold as we didnt know when the next one was coming. We called receptiin to ask and explained he was struggling and rather than let us wait they sebt a golf buggy down to collect us! Amazing. Kieran felt like a VIP abd he got to sit in the front with driver! Made his day! Thankyou to all the staff at Culzean Castle for accepting and understanding! #worldautismawareness ÔŅĹ

We love Culzean and visit as often as we can and will continue to do so. However, we were really disappointed todays breakfast with Santa...having been to all the other Christmas events that are full of activities for the kids and the castle being really decorated for Christmas this felt a bit boring. We had breakfast then we were taken through to another room to queue for 10 mins to spend 1 min saying hello to Santa for the kids to get their gift while being watched by the big queue behind us. We were up super early to travel over an hour to get there for 9.30am and just felt it was all a bit disappointing.

User

We had a brilliant day here today with our two boys, the adventure play area was amazing and all the staff were great, very helpful and made the children feel welcome in the castle. Its was disappointing to see disrespectful people letting there dogs poop and not picking it up and leaving litter on the ground.

User

Visited today with my retired parents and two boys. Best, and I really mean best in Scotland, kid’s play area. Lots of walks. Gordon who works in the castle was amazing at answering all my kid’s questions. Hidden LEGO people in the castle was great fun to find. Although we were there all day we still could have stayed longer. Brilliant day out and value for money.

User

This is our favourite place to come to as a family. We've been coming here for four years and have never been disappointed. We attended the Easter event today and it was fantastic. So much to do and and a lot of thought put in to it. The play park is the best we have ever been to and the new section is amazing. Love the new facilities in the coffee shop and the new menu. We are national trust members and for this place alone it's worth every penny. Easily spend a whole day here and still not see the whole park. There are beautiful place to have a picnic with sheltered areas too and prices in the cafe are reasonable. New eating place beside the play park is great and I loved that transport was put on today to help people get about. Couldn't fault our day. Well done.

User

My husband and I looked all over Scotland for a wedding venue, and absolutely fell in love with Culzean Castle. Not only for the immense beauty surrounding the grounds and castle itself, but for the lovely and incredibly helpful staff as well. They made sure our special day went off without a hitch and took great care of us and our family. We had an absolute blast every time we visited, whether wedding related or just strolling along the beach or the swan pond. We even saw whales and a seal! Absolutely wonderful place run by wonderful people.

User

Just want to say a big Thanks. We came here after winning a FB comp, was first time there and how fab it was. Great Day for all ages, my Afternoon Tea was lush, kids enjoyed it as well. Magical castle, a great place with many memories to walk round and all the guides were very helpful. One thing to look out for is the 'moving shoe'. Keep an eye out for it. Advenuture Play was fantastic for all ages, girls (and Mum & Dad) had a ball. Recommend greatly. Thanks Very Much for a wonderful day x

User

Just back home after today's fabulous wedding. This was my first time at Culzean and i've worked at hundreds of venues before, but this place has just become a clear favourite! The grounds are just breathtaking, so much choice for photos, but what makes it extra special is the helpfulness and friendliness of every single member of staff I encountered today. Special mention goes to Donna and Danielle for being amazing and helping me create those beautiful photos for my couple by taming the veil and dress in the wind, and Ian too for showing me around. Great place and I hope to be back soon x

User

Had our wedding here and it was nothing less than spectacular!! The entire place is breathtaking. The staff is extremely professional and kind. I can’t wait to go back again!!

User

Great place. Well kept. Very good value. Something for everyone. Lovely to see so much for kids to do.

But, ditch the drinking straws. They damage the environment. You are by the coast, the ones left outside will end up in the sea.

User

Breakfast with Santa was fantastic! We came to the enchanted castle last year and were really disappointed as it was too long and boring for our toddler, however this year was amazing! It was well thought out and everything ran smoothly. All the staff were fantastic, from the gentleman driving the bus/trailer to Santa himself. The breakfast was was delicious, the service great and the breakfast room was lovely and warm! Again, staff were all fab, very attentive. The whole event lasted just the right amount of time for my 3 year old. My son's present from Santa was a wooden shape sorter which he was a little disappointed with as he could see other boy's opening presents which contained lorries. The young guy who was dressed as an elf came over and offered to change my son's present! He came though with a new wrapped gift and took away the wooden one. My son was delighted to open it and find a lorry of his own! What fantastic customer service! Would highly recommend and will be first in the queue to book again next year.

An amazing National Trust property.

So many different areas, surely something for everyone.

As it was a lovely sunny day when we were last visiting we played in the incredible playground,( pagoda too) cooled off in the sea played on the beach before doing the serious stuff. Walking around, Swan Pond & the gardens.

We missed out the palace, we've been in on other visits, preferring to stay out in the sunshine.

User

Amazing day out in the sunshine, spent all day with 2 wee ones and didn't even manage to cover the half of it. Definately be back ÔŅĹ

User

Absolutely love this place. Having been coming here off and on for over 20years. The improvements that have been done are in keeping with the Estate. The staff are extra friendly and helpful and informative. Food at Home Farm is spot on and not overly expensive. The new entrance is captivating especially at night when it's all lit up. My two girls have grown up at Culzean and my eldest was asked for her hand in marriage by her fiancé there because he knew how much this place is so special to her. Will be returning for the next 20 odd years, hopefully.

User

Went to the park the other day when my partner finished work to take kids to park to find out they now close it a 6.30 I pay for my national trust pass for it to really be no use has can't get to it due to time my partner works till. so was very disappointed don't think I was the only 1 they was a few people turned up with there kids and had to take them away crying. I know my kids don't wnt to keep walking round the paths over and over again not much fun for them.

User

We went to outdoor cinema of Beauty and the Beast. The movie was advertised as 7.30pm start but didn't start until 8.30pm. Apparently it needs to be quite dark to see the screen and it still wasn't dark enough to see it. We could hardly see much. It was too late for us to stay til end as we needed to leave at 9pm, so we had to leave without seeing much of the movie. The set up had really good potential and the team lending blankets was a nice touch. No hot drinks available to buy which would of been good.

User

We visited the park on 21 July with our extended family, 5 of whom were children. This park and the surrounding area are among my favourite places and the park was as beautiful as ever. My one complaint is that the children's play area at the Swan Pond charged. Wait for it, £8.50 entry per child. £8.50!!!! That's just ludicrous. A rip off. We had 5 children with us.

Apart from this we had a lovely day.
