CFRC operates as a social enterprise with charitable status and has established itself as a free and convenient service for those who want to donate unwanted furniture and mattresses in an ethical manner and a valuable resource for those looking to furnish their home at an affordable price and /or offset their carbon footprint. Recycling and re-using good quality furniture and mattresses not only re-distributes much needed items to those on limited incomes, it also impacts on landfill and the costs associated with that, both financial and ecological.
