We had afternoon tea to celebrate my friend's birthday and it was a celebration feast indeed! Generously portioned sandwiches, hot scones & excellent advice regarding cocktail & tea selection, we both left with treats for home as we just couldn't eat any more! We'll absolutely be back!

Was here yesterday as a birthday treat to afternoon tea by my friend we've had lots of afternoon tea's over the years in several different places but this was by far the best one so far. The place is beautiful well decorated and comfortable the staff were excellent very friendly and attentive couldn't do enough for us made us feel right at home . The food was excellent we could tell how freshly made it was and the cakes were brilliant also fresh and tasty 1st time visit won't be the last x

Took my mum as a late mothers day gift, my mum has coeliac disease so she had the gluten free afternoon tea, i had the normal one and my 3 year old had the kids one, i have to say all were amazing! Such a lovely little place to go!

Really enjoyed my day, great afternoon tea sandwiches cakes and scones all very tasty , the staff were very attentive polite and constantly on the floor if you had any questions. All in all a very good experience

My Best friend treated me to a gin afternoon tea, from the moment we walked in we were greated by two lovely girls welcoming us in. Our server talked us through the whole afternoon tea what we get what drinks etc. Couldn't believe it when the stand came! It was full to the brim with lovely little sandwiches and cakes. They then bring you over scones fresh out of the oven! Had an absolutely amazing experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone, and hopefully get the chance to visit again.

Loved my treat yesterday from my hubby for our anniversary. Lentil and bacon soup with savoury scones was yummy but then we decided to follow that with a cream tea.... highly recommend this wee hidden away resteraunt.xx

I had another lovely Afternoon Tea with my daughter Tuesday 22nd August, the staff are lovely, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere with music in the background. The food was delicious along with the gin cocktail served in a lovely teapot. We were told we didn't need to leave within the 90mins given so we then had a sloe ginlini which was amazing

Had a lovely relaxing afternoon tea here today with my husband. Everything was amazing from start to finish. Loved the chocolate orange and pink pepper tea. Would def recommend and will def be back to sample the brunch menu. X

Had a lovely afternoon tea here yesterday with my 3 sisters. We arrived a bit early but our table was all set up & ready for us. The staff were very helpful . We ordered teas & coffees & 2 tea pots of gin 2 wash down the lovely sandwiches , cakes etc that were brought out on 2 large cake stands,yummy 😋. We were also given a box 2 take away the cakes that we didn’t manage 2 eat. Highly recommend for afternoon tea 👍

Booked here for a surprise birthday tea, the staff went out their way to make it a fantastic time, attentive even tho it was a big table, they were busy but it didn’t matter, they were pleasant and ever so helpful. The food was fantastic and the scones were perfection! Cannot recommend enough! �

Best afternoon tea I have been to, I have been to the other cup in town but the company over all is great! I love the fact they give you your scones wen you want them so they stay nice and hot. Staff are lovely and go out there way to make sure everything is ok for you. Will continue to come hear for afternoon tea well worth the money , oh and I loved the gin cocktail teapot was really nice for someone who doesn't like gin xxxx

Arrived here for Afternoon Tea after a delightful appointment at The Gin Spa. We were quickly shown to our seats and the waiting staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The chicken croissant was amazing as well as the little cheese bite. Sandwiches were yummy and the cakes were outstanding! Mixed berry and white chocolate scones straight out of the oven were devine! All washed down with a little glass of prosecco and almost any flavour of tea you can imagine, although I went for coffee! All round delightful experience! Thank you for making Monday fabulous!

A pleasure to visit. During the day and attentive staff supply sandwiches, cakes and scones , gluten free options too and a wide variety of teas and coffees....a quiet oasis for a break in the centre of the city.

Had afternoon tea on an itison voucher. Great value for money. Only complaint was the "sandwiches" were a bit strange. Sounded interesting on paper but weren't very appealing when served. The treacle duck looked like a slug! Scones and cakes were lovely and cocktail teapot went down a treat.

This time was for a treat for a friends 50th

Sandwiches fresh and good fillings. But just the same old cakes and cupcake. Be nice to have a different selection.

Upgraded to the champagne package. The glass we had this time was tiny and really not worth the extra money. Noticed that other people had larger glasses. It should be a standard sized glass. Service was good but edged on too much.

We had three different servers constantly asking if everything was ok. Got a bit wearing after a while.

Good little place. With some tweaks could be great.

The staff themselves were lovely and the afternoon tea experience was good. Could have done with more savoury to sweet ratio though as even some of the savoury stuff was pretty sweet/rich. Also there was a group of theatrical people who had pretty much taken a full corner and kept overspilling practically leaning on other people's tables when we were all trying to eat. They kept walking in and out of the place and brushing/bumping into people's tables or talking on their phones right next to you with them on loudspeaker. I really think the staff should have had a word with them.

Visited yesterday for afternoon tea on Mother's Day special. Was very disappointed in the sandwiches were only very small crossaint and a finger sandwich. Service was great however was not value for money. Very poor in comparison to my visit on Mother's Day 2 years ago at cup on byres road which had plenty of sandwiches and better variety of cakes. I wouldn't recommend it very overpriced for the amount we paid.
